The apartment style room was very nice and clean when we arrived. Plenty of hot water for baths. Appliances worked well. Nice balcony. Bed was good. Airconditioning was great, kept the apartment nice and cool. Parking was ok, very tight parking spaces for large SUV or large trucks. The office and cleaning staff was very nice and provided great customer service!! The only think that wasn't great was the Wifi bandwidth was spotty, WIFI connection as great; stayed connected. Connections to internet services was spotty and kept on buffering.

Everything about the condo was perfect. The condo was nice and clean when we got there. We loved how checking in and out was done via mobile. Baytowne Wharf was conveniently close for dining and entertainment.

Check in process easy. A little disappointed in the condo. The toilet ran, the patio door broken, the patio chairs were dirty and mildew.

Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchen stocked with kitchen essentials. Washer and dryer a plus.
We had issues with the living room TV. The large multi outlet plug must have a short in it. It works briefly then causes the cable to loose connection. (I called shortly after arriving regarding it and it was 2:30 the next before I heard back from maintenance.) We fixed it by removing the outlet plug and plugging directly in the wall.
The only other small thing is, if your going to have additional pillows in the closet for the sofa bed, you need pillow cases. Sheets were available and we had to share the master bed pillows with the sofa bed.
It was nice to be able to walk out and find ice cream and nice restaurants within walking distance.
We did enjoy or stay here and felt safe a secure.
Your balcony view is of the front driveway, nothing spectacular.

The appliances were all very useful. They had everything you could possibly need to prepare meals (stove/oven/microwave/hand mixer/toaster/cooking utensils/pots/pans/refrigerator/freezer/filtered water/ice maker) after a busy day at the beach. The balcony is bigger than I expected. The room is exactly as the pictures show.
The property itself (the grand sandestin) was a very very nice place. The parking garage was tight but secure.
Overall it was a great experience.

Great location for food and evening activities, plenty of room for a week or longer stay. Very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Stay at The Grand
First time staying here and the door code worked at first but then a few times it wouldn’t allow access into unit. The unit claimed to also be cleaned especially for non-smokers but am upon arrival the entire unit smelled of cigarettes. Thankfully front desk gave Lysol to help.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Villardonnel. We were a party of 14 with three generations of family who enjoyed their stay equally. The property has been beautifully restored, all the rooms were bright and airy which the children had great fun exploring. The kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of crockery & cutlery with a bonus of two dishwashers & fridges. We spent lazy days around the pool with meals on the terrace & equally enjoyed days out exploring the local area. The children really enjoyed their day tree climbing at Lac’cro Parc near Mazamet. We’d like to thank Sebastian and Christine for being lovely hosts and we hope to return again one day.

We have just returned from a week at Le Colombier and can honestly say that we had a really great time. Virtually everything about the villa is perfect, from the beautifully decorated rooms through to the gardens and a really lovely large pool.
We spent most days in the pool or relaxing in the extensive gardens and most evenings on the terrace enjoying excellent local food and wine. The children especially loved exploring the many rooms and playing in the pool.
We were a party of 8, with 3 generations of family members and all enjoyed our visit equally.
We hope to return again soon. Special thanks to our hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we drove up to the villa's gates.

We had just returned from a truly special week at Domaine Le Colombier. We were 17 people (9 adults and 8 children) and this house accommodated us in the utmost comfort. The house has been immaculately restored and furnished inside, very airy and spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and serving (multiple dishwashers and fridges and vast quantities of crockery and glassware). We loved the shaded, cool and green outdoor terrace and garden and spent a lot of time in the (fenced for safety) pool. Sebastien and Christine were very helpful, kind and accommodating. They took all 8 of our kids (ages 4 to 11) horse riding around the property which was a highlight for the kids. For the adults, my highlight was probably the superb and reasonably priced 3 course meals we had every evening cooked by Florence, a local French lady who runs a catering business and cooked the most delicious, regional French dishes for us. A visit to the town of Carcasonne is a must. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. Regarding getting there, we flew into Bordeaux, Toulouse and Montpelier and all of those airports were fine and easy to navigate.

Our stay at Domaine le Colombier was fantastic. This house is everything I was looking for to host a large group in the south of France. All of the bedrooms are exquisitely appointmented and we had a great time lounging around the pool and walking the grounds. We cooked a lot in the great kitchen too. I would DEFINITELY recommend this property to anyone with a large group (we had 12, and could have fit 4-5 more very comfortably) and I will definitely stay here again!
