We could not have loved this property anymore-everything was perfect! The fully stocked kitchen, the gas fire pit with that view, the comfortable beds! And the game room was great-adults and teens all fully entertained with ping pong and foosball tournaments. The place was clean and spacious. We were in the area for a graduation at Western Carolina, which was an easy 30 minute drive. Hope to stay again next time we’re in the area.

The cabin was exactly as shown and described in the rental description. Other than a small hiccup with the heating unit, the week was fantastic! Lots of room for kids to play and adults to relax. The game room and children's toys available were definitely an added bonus. The distance to Asheville and Pigeon Forge were within an hour from the cabin and there were other national parks just minutes away. This cabin was perfect for our family vacation.

Spent 5 nights here after Christmas. The house is fully stocked for families—probably the best stocked house I have been in. Listing is 100% spot on! House was clean and very comfortable. Close to grocery stores and skiing at Cataloochie. Beautiful views!
If traveling in the winter—you need a 4 wheel drive car. Thankfully we had no snow or ice but had that been there—I am not sure our Suburban would have been enough. It’s a one way road to get to the house.
Also, this is to the owner. The rental company is like an automated system—which is annoying. We tried to confirm the baby stuff listed on VRBO was really in the house and also asked if the house had a fire pit. The rental company said they cannot guarantee anything listed in the house. So we brought stuff we didn’t need too—the house has a ton of baby items (as listed) and a great fire pit. They need a new rental company that has real people who have an inventory of everything in the house and not an automated system with generic replies.

Me, Wife and two of our kids stayed here for the SECOND time. House works well for us and property manager very responsive. Steep driveway that would be a challenge if it were to snow. But wasn’t an issue for us.

Our stay in Waynesville was perfect thanks to this amazing property. We were in town for a wedding at the country club nearby, and couldn’t have made a better choice for our home base. The house is beautiful and the views are just stunning. Thanks to the owners for a great Vrbo experience.

Snowed In
This property ended up being the perfect place to be snowed in. Family fun everywhere. The basement is kid heaven. Turns out grocery stores are walkable too! So glad we made the trip and would love to return.

The property is an older family style house - we felt at home here and comfortable. It generally had everything you would need or want and was in an area convenient to town, stores, the mountains etc. The roads on the way up though are fairly steep and the driveway is as well so you want to be aware of this if you are not used to mountain roads which are one lane in some parts.

It generally had everything you would need or want and was in an area convenient to town, stores, the mountains etc. The roads on the way up though are fairly steep and the driveway is as well so you want to be aware of this if you are not used to mountain roads which are one lane in some parts.

Great property filled with thoughtful ameneties including a fully stocked kitchen - everything you need to make meals while you are away. Light filled and airy, yet nesteled within tall trees, this property feels secluded and private. The gas fireplace is a nice touch.
