An amazing place to stay with a beautiful view. Lots to do and explore. Wonderful hosts so very kind and considerate. Would love to stay there again.
Nothing.

Difficulty communicating with hosts in advance of arrival but once we'd met them in person they were delightful!

Sixt is a 10 minute drive from Samoens, from where you can take the lift up to the Grand Massif ski area. Ample parking at the lift. There is no direct access from Sixt, but there is a panoramic ski route that takes you back to the village. You can then easily take the ski bus back to Samoens. The village itself is quiet and nice with traditional chalets scattered around the village and feels at bit like at the end of the world, because big big mountains separate France from e.g. Switzerland on the other side.
