The location was excellent and the owner George is the nicest person you could ever meet.He even took us to the airport.

I like location very close to the beach, to the beach road, but very calm and with very warm hospitality of the owners
Everything was great, only my time was not enough 😄 to enjoy it more

This is a lovely little friendly place. George the owner is always on hand for anything you need/want. It’s basic but clean and comfortable and just 1 min walk to the Main Street and 2 mins to the beach.

room was cleaned almost every day
bedsheets and the towels were changed often
we had a small covered porch with a table and 2 chairs
we were welcomed by the host with traditional wine, homemade dessert, flowers, and a bottle of cold water
George's (the host) mother gave us some cucumbers from their garden and they also gave us from time to time some treats which made us feel more at home and we highly appreciate
the restaurants were close, about 5 min walk and the beach was the same
beach like all greek beaches was clean, there are a lot of sunbeds, but if you walk on the beach you can find also places to stay on the sand. there are showers. in some places, you pay 5-8 eur for 2 sunbeds, but you can also find sunbeds offered for free if you order the drinks from them and the prices are the same, maybe even lower
I liked the fact that the restaurants had places for the kids to play and kids' menus
lots of small shops to buy souvenirs
in the room, we stayed the wi-fi was working very well, only on the porch it was so and so
if we go to Crete again, we are going to choose to stay at Lia Sofia

George, our host was exceptional, carafe of wine in fridge and cake from his mother, also during our stay presents of food were left for us, true Cretan hospitality. A had a 1 bedroom apartment with large balcony ,good location to beach/bars and tavernas
Regular changes of sheets and towels
George allowed us to stay in our apartment until we were ready to leave to meet transfer pick up to airport which was not until 5pm
We would have no hesitation in staying in the Lia Sophia apartments again.

Lovely host. Very close to beach and restaurants. Very spacious sea view apartment. Quiet ambience.

The room was very good and pretty comfortable for even 3 persons. The only fitting problem would be if you decide to sit inside and eat. Then you will have to sit on the balcony that was pretty comfortable too.

Family run, super clean and beautiful apartment right next to the family friendly beach.
Restaurants, Greek Tavernas, supermarket, pharmacy, souvenir shops and all you need in 5min walking distance. Absolutely amazing place run by Jiorgos and his family. Owner is extremely helpful and friendly, can help with transportation from/to airport and any other excursions you might like to do.
“Efcharisto poly” and hope to be back soon.

Everything was spotless, maid did excellent job
Everyone was so friendly, George and his family couldn’t do enough for you, little things like wine and chocolate cake on arrival, fruit being left in a bag on door handle, small things that meant so much
His father always had a “ good morning” for you
