Le Clos du Roc, Maison d'hôtes

It was a beautiful home owned by a lovely couple and their dog, Maya. Very clean, and the staff was attentive. It was a quiet setting with much to do in the surrounding area. My room, The Duchess, had a lovely settee to curl up on for reading with a cup of tea. The food was also exceptional! This was the perfect, quiet getaway I had been looking for.

I first visited this wonderful place a year ago and completely fell in love with it. Coming back this year, I was a bit worried that it wouldn't live up to my memories or that the magic might be gone. I couldn't have been more wrong – it was actually even better! The biggest and most wonderful surprise was that they have opened an on-site restaurant, which serves absolutely delicious food. It made our stay so convenient and enjoyable. The hosts are incredibly warm, welcoming, and sociable people who make you feel like family the moment you arrive. They have a wonderful dog that everyone adored, and their lovely daughter played so beautifully with my children. It was a true paradise for the kids! If you are looking for a place with a soul, great hospitality, and a beautiful atmosphere, this is it. We are already looking forward to our next return!

Really cool chateau with lovely decor. The food both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We had dinner there 2 nights and it was the best food we had during our 12 days in France

Our initial experience was that the welcome was a little frosty. The cleaning lady was brilliant and so was the male owner It’s not easy without a car to get anywhere
