We stayed in the Little Joe cabin for a week during Christmas. The cabin was very clean and was very well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, trash bags and laundry supplies. I have stayed at several STR properties and this is the first where we did not have to purchase these items. We also had a welcome basket with snacks and water waiting for us. The hosts were very responsive with any questions and were accommodating with a special request that we had. The property is beautiful in a peaceful setting, we enjoyed walks with our dog - he enjoyed the large off-leash area. Overall a great experience, we will be staying again in the future!

We are two couples who stayed for a weekend while attending a concert in Knoxville. The cabin was easy to find and the property was lovely. The cabin is perfect for two couples. Having two bedroom and two baths, was just what we needed. We really enjoyed the arcade game upstairs. It brought back a lot of memories of our youth.
Check in and check out was very easy with little cleaning expected from us. The only thing that was less than appealing that was the hot tub. It’s old, has a mildew issue and the jets are very weak. But it was hot.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect balance of “getting away” but we were only 10 minutes from downtown Knoxville. Our hosts left very detailed and helpful instructions and checked in with us just the right amount. We can’t wait to come back!

We stay at vacation rentals on all our trips and this place has by far been the best. The cabin is adorable and beyond super clean! The area to walk around and explore was a huge plus when wanting to spend quality, quiet time with family. We captured an adorable photo of our 22 year old Grandson's feet hanging out of the hammock by the pond. This kind of sums up the overall experience. The communication with the hosts was great and assuring of us having a nice stay. HIGHLY!!! recommend this place.

Exactly as described and pictured! Great stay away for a girl's week! Quiet and serene, close to the sights yet off the beaten path. The owners have been fabulous and incredibly accommodating! Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend the Little Joe on the Ponderosa.

We stayed on 16 acres of heaven in a lovely cabin for three nights. The cabin, named after one of the Cartwright boys from Bonanza, was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and well served by friendly and helpful hosts. It is super convenient to Knoxville and would be perfect for a UT football weekend or just a treading getaway. The Smokey Mountain National Park is but 30 minutes away in the other direction. The pond with fountain and nature trail with actual nature are beautiful. Saw two deer by the creek. We will stay again.

We were moving our son into University of Tennessee and this cabin was perfect!!! Close to university, adorable and the host went above and beyond!! Love everything about it, we will be staying here a lot over the next 4 years!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lil Joe, it was the perfect location between Maryville and North Knoxville. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating.

We stayed in Lil’ Joe for a couple of days. The cabin is exactly as described. Modern amenities with a cabin feel. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to relax and open a book. Highly recommend.

Nice location! Nicely kept up and clean. however, the mattress was way too soft, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. Our dog also gives it five stars! She loved exploring your property.

We had a great stay at the Ponderosa. Our cabin was cute, cozy & very clean. We loved the area & my boys loved catching bass in the pond. Brandi was excellent & went above & beyond as our host! We highly recommend this for a place to stay!

Our stay here was the equivalent of a five star hotel. The interior and grounds were gorgeous and we had everything we needed or wanted including the hot tub and laundry and lovely porch. We also appreciated the entrance from the parking area to the kitchen by a back porch. Thank you for being so thoughtful for your guests. Would definitely recommend.

My husband, and dogs, very much enjoyed the 2 night stay. It was just as advertised and when I was struggling to enter the gate after 10 pm I was able to speak with the owners to get in without a problem! I would stay again in the future for sure, very close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park

Just returned from our stay in Knoxville. Could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and the overall experience. This is a beautiful property, the weather could not have been better, and the large pasture was great for our Lab. The family that owns the property was helpful and pleasant to deal with. Almost the entire family are service folks (thank you for your service)..all the more reason to stay here when your travels take you to Knoxville. We had a great time...were close to everything and really enjoyed the stay. Kudos to the family!

My husband and I traveled with our pets towing a fishing boat to have work done on the boat. We spent the week periodically exploring town waiting for the boat. We appreciated the quiet area to keep the dogs calm and the extensive supplies available to make the cabin feel like home. My only criticism is that the walking bridge in front of little Joes cabin was slippery when wet. Unfortunately it rained all week!

The "Little Joe" cabin was cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a warm fire every evening. We walked through out the Property and especially liked the leash free meadow, and so did our pups.
The owners Kevin and Brandi responded almost instantaniously to our messages.

I got the best sleep here I have had in years. It was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. Nice to be outside and walk around the 16 Acres. We used the fireplace each night made it cozy. It is close enough but far enough away from all the action. Had a great stay. The owners replied promptly to any message.

Little Joe cabin was a perfect spot to stay with friends for the weekend. The proximity to Neumann Stadium was great and it had all the amenities we needed.

We enjoyed the beautiful country setting of the Pond'erosa cabins! Kevin and Brandi were gracious hosts! They were so nice to Bill and I who travelled here for a conference and the AMBC Fall Festival. They even came to our rescue when we couldn't pull up the Georgia / Tennessee game. That was so cool of them!
If you are not a big city type person and have to travel to Knoxville, this is a great option. It was only a 15 min to 30 minute drive from the cabin to downtown. The Pond'erosa cabins are gated and out in the country side, so I felt really secure.
The property is pet-friendly and Rosie my JackChi enjoyed exploring and rolling in the leaves.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy log cabin. Lots of special amenities were provided. There was room on the property to walk and explore. It was great to enjoy nature, quiet and the beautiful fall leaves while being only a short distance to downtown Knoxville.

Just me my son and dog Brutus. Decided to have a boys weekend. We recently lost our best friend Bella to old age. Brutus is getting older too so we just wanted to get one last road trip with the boys. Brutus being without his sister has gotten him really depressed. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Property was amazing. Cabin was just right for us. Brutus had a blast walking the 16 acre property. We will definitely be coming back.

This is a beautiful 16acres property in the trees. The hosts were extremely responsive to questions and have incorporated games and puzzles as part of the experience. It was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I and our two dogs!

Overall the stay was very nice. The property was fairly quiet. We enjoyed walking or dog around the property. She found the walks to be more enjoyable than simply walking around my subdivision. I'm sure she enjoyed all the new smells that come with walking in nature. We saw several deer on the property, several times. We did a little fishing. I caught several nice largemouth bass and the wife caught several bluegill. Overall a very nice and relaxing weekend.

The cabin was clean. Comfortable and had enough room for me , my daughter and my pups. My fur babies loved the property. If I’m down again visiting my daughter I would absolutely stay here again.

Nestled In a quaint tree setting is a little cabin perfect for our stay. Minutes from just about anything. Mountain bikes and hiking trails is all we needed.
