Hotel Krone by b-smart

Cute little hotel, clean rooms and modern furniture in the heart of Bad Ragaz.

Because everything is “automated” it feels unfortunately soulless. Check in happens in front of a screen and for breakfeast everything is there but no people. This is especially strange if you are the first one. I understand that this is a price optimization matter and it works. However, what was unacceptable is that we’ve arrived 30 min after official checkin time and our room was still not ready due to some service going on in the hotel. This was in our situation due to time pressure unacceptable. Service handled it somehow over the phone but the hotel should not bring their guest in that kind of situations in first place.

Camera accogliente, silenziosissima (finestre ottime). Colazione buona.

Consiglio: totem solo in tedesco ed inglese. Francese e/o italiano?

selfcheck in/ out very efficient, nice breakfast, dis not meet any personel but it was not needed

The room was clean and spacious. Location is very central.

Noise! It was literally impossible to sleep. There is no sound isolation in the building. Above the room I stayed in, there is a residential property, and someone there was walking around and making noise all the night. I had to knock at the sealing several times during the night, because there was no other way to communicate thus issue. Poor breakfast, no eggs, old bread.
