Quiet, clean! Just what we were looking for

Cosy, clean, great facilities.
Bathroom is downstairs, not an issue for us though.

Good location, private and peaceful, reasonable self catering standard at a fair price.
Pebbled/gravel entrance, unstable gradient and noisy, I slipped twice! Seated stepping stones in the gravel may be an alternative.
Basic self catering facilities, also a small welcome pack would have been a nice touch after a very long journey!

Cottage was basic but very clean. Location was lovely.
Infantry in the kitchen was very basic a few cooking/serving utensils would have been handy. Fire and Heating did not work. Owner did call in to get heating working but it didnt work. TV remote was hit and miss, buttons were worn and it could take a few mintues to change channels. With no heating available cottage suffered with damp.
Sofa bed is very worn and very uncomfortable to sleep on.

"Very quiet location but still central enough for shops and access to the Forest of Dean. Accommodation had all the facilities I wanted and was clean and comfy. Hosts were excellent."
