While the location, amenities and views were great, the cleanliness was subpar. I wish I had listened to the reviews from other guests, but as a seasoned travel agent, I like to believe reviews should be taken with a grain of salt.
This was not the case with this unit. There is a serious ant problem in the kitchen which was so bad we had to throw away so much food that we had just bought the day of arrival due to the fact that the ants had gotten into it all.
There were stains on the sheets, pillows and comforters. Hairs were found on the sheets, towels and pillow cases. One of the comforters had a huge hole in it.
It was so bad we went out and purchased our own linens and pillows and towels to use as we were far too grossed out to use what was provided.
There were dust bunnies and cobwebs all over the unit.
The coffee cups were gross and covered in fuzzies and grime.
My phone had slipped between the couch cushions and I lifted the cushions to get it out and was completely disgusted with how filthy it was under them.
A new cleaning company needs to be sought out.
Perhaps VRBO should reconsider their new found partnership with Vacasa.
Will not return to this unit and will seek out via other sources for future stays rather than Vrbo/vacasa.
Cleanliness is not up for discussion for me. Ever.
Photos were sent to Vacasa upon arrival. They offered to come in and clean. Why wasn’t this done prior to our arrival? Never. Again.

Our main issue was the unit not being cleaned prior to our arrival. Honestly, it appeared to have not been cleaned well for a while going by the dirt on the moldings. Vacasa took 6 days to fix the sink that was never cleaned with a broken drain. They were also supposed to fix the tv but never did. We were not able to watch any tv during our stay, which wasn’t awful just ment more family bonding but still would have been nice for once the kids were in bed. I would say our biggest issue was vacasa. We won’t be staying with them again.

I think they could definitely use a better cleaning service floors were not swept or cleaned we did use linen package and our master bedroom had stained sheets i had also brought my own so happy I did the hallway into the unit was wet and smelt like mildew as an owner I would want better management overlooking my condo .

Picked up property packet at 4:15pm,entering condo at 4:30pm, it had not been cleaned and dirty laundry was still inside. Called number listed and condo was cleaned in an hour or so. Searched for Wi-if information which was not found. Called office and password on file did not work. Spent week WITHOUT internet even though advertised with Wi-Fi/ internet.

The property at 46B Thunder Island was an amazing place to rent for the week,the place was very clean and loved the decor, everything was very picture perfect, loved the view from the balcony and the kids loved to go right out the door and fish, would highly recommend this listing

Nice little condo directly next to the convention center. We had events all week in the convention center, so the convenience was awesome! Beautiful bay view from the condo deck which is furnished with comfortable patio furniture. My only complaint was that the hall entrance into the apartment was very dirty and smelled of mildew.

This property has a great location and was nicely decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We had fun fishing off the pier and we were right next to the convention center where they were having a car show. We were disappointed that the shower in the larger bathroom was leaking into the condo below and had management knocking on out door at 11pm. We were not able to use that bathroom for the remainder of the stay and 6 of us had to use 1 tiny bathroom.

Great location
This property has a great location and was nicely decorated and comfortable. It had everything we needed. I loved our condo and the location! Such gorgeous views! Very comfortable place to stay. However, I never received an email from the rental company about check in instructions. Also, I booked with VRBO but then was receiving emails from Vacasa and Vantage Realty. I paid VRBO but received emails from Vantage Realty that my bill wasn't paid and I was going to forfeit my rental if I didn't pay them. The property information was taken off of the listing on the VRBO app so I didn't know what size linens to bring for the beds. I didn't know where to go to pick up the keys or parking pass. I had to download the Vacasa app to get any information about the property or check in and I didn't discover I had to do that until I got to Ocean City. I looked up Vacasa in Ocean City but didn't find an address to go to. I had to look up Vantage Realty in order to find an address to pick up my keys. After finally receiving my keys after waiting in a long line, I get to my condo to find it very messy: dirty linens were thrown on the couch, the place hadn't been vacuumed or swept or wiped with any cleaner. In the bathroom, there were signs that someone had been there to clean- there was a paper sign over the toilet stating that it had been sanitized. The kitchen was splattered with spaghetti sauce, the ice cube trays in the freezer were also splattered with food particles. While I was cleaning up, a cleaning crew entered the condo that I had already checked into with our my permission. I looked up, and there were complete strangers in my rental. They were very nice and explained that someone had complained that the condo wasn't clean. I hadn't called anyone yet to complain. I let them clean and thank goodness they did. It would have taken me all afternoon to do the work of those three people did in an hour. My family and I had a wonderful time at the location, but the beginning of our trip started very rocky.

Beautiful place, close to everything within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, Jolly Roger and a nice walk to the boardwalk. The Bay view either in the morning with coffee or in the evening with a night cap is absolutely breath taking. I recommend this place to anyone. Decorated beautifully and so clean and fresh.

Beautiful place, close to everything within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, Jolly Roger and a nice walk to the boardwalk. A little late commenting, but we had a great time at the 2019 Endless Summer Cruise. The condo is in the perfect location being next to the convention center. We were within walking distance to the show at the center and to several restaurants. The place is very clean, decorated beautifully, and the view of the bay was so relaxing. This was our first time renting through Vantage. The process was easy, and check in and out was a breeze.

A little late commenting, but we had a great time at the 2019 Endless Summer Cruise. The condo is in the perfect location being next to the convention center. We were within walking distance to the show at the center and to several restaurants. The place is very clean, decorated beautifully, and the view of the bay was so relaxing.
