We stayed for a family weekend wedding. Biljana was wonderful to work with, it was a plus for us being in the same neighborhood as my parents home. This home is very spacious and private with all the trees. Everyone was comfortable with sleeping. Master shower is great!!! Highly recommend this property. Lots of space in the well equipped kitchen. Loved the wine refrigerator to keep your drinks cold.

Cleanliness was great. All the comforts of home at the Point. Quiet, secluded and relaxing. Sleeping was best I’ve had in 5 years. Every amenity you can think of. Loved seeing the deer passing through. No hang ups or issues of any kind. Hope to return

The house was really nice. We were not coming from home. We were coming from DC when we found out that we needed to furnish our own towels and sheets. When we let the owners know the situation They came through with sheets and towels witch saved us from having to go out and purchase them.

We have stayed at numerous places on different beaches but this one was by far the most amazing. Every single inch of that pace was gorgeous, so well thought out and bedrooms were spacious and even a deck off the master besides a large deck off the living room and a front deck. Not loud and busy but a great home away from home and can’t wait to save my Pennie’s for next summer❤️couldn’t have been any better at all. Just the huge kitchen island was awesome. Seated six stools on the one side of it. ❤️loved it.

We had a wonderful time! The house was a great location. It was a short shaded walk to the beach. It was so quiet and relaxing at the house too. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We liked that the house had beach chairs and beach cart that we could use. Whenever we texted the owners there was a quick response. The ping pong table provided a fun family game night! We would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect for us. The house was very clean and the host was super responsive. The beach is just a short shaded walk away and the neighborhood was very quiet.
We enjoyed the ping pong table and dart board in the garage on rainy days. Overall it was a great experience!

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house fit us very well. We had our two young married sons with their wives (one set flying in from Seattle and the other driving up from Chattanooga) and our other two single children. We ate in all our meals and the kitchen and living area served us very well for doing that. The walk to the beach is shaded and the beach is stunning. The four new beach chairs are wonderful... backpack chairs.

The property is nestled in the trees, and is very private. The owner is extremely responsive and will answer any questions or address any issues immediately. There are abundant dishes, pots, pans etc for any cooking you wish to do. The decks are awesome for a relaxing time after fishing all day. We all enjoyed this property and will consider it again in the near future!

We enjoyed staying at Biljana's property at Emerald Isle. The house was so bright and open and had plenty of room. The walk to the beach was very easy and followed a walkway through the woods. The house was also convenient to a couple of grocery stores and several good restaurants. Biljana provided bikes and an ample number of beach chairs for us to use.

Our family had a great time as always at Emerald Isle. This house had everything we needed from enjoyable walk to the beach, bikes, beach games etc. The owner worked with us each step of the way and answered any questions we had. This house was clean and had all the amenities we needed for an awesome week! Thank you :)

What a wonderful place to spend a week at the beach! The owners are so welcoming and responsive that we knew right away that this house was some place special. Beautifully decorated, very clean, well stocked with everything you need, comfortable beds, and so close to the beach. We saw all kinds of wildlife- from frequent sightings of deer to a turtle crossing the yard to tiny frogs hanging out on the back decks. My teenage girls loved challenging their mom and dad to darts and ping pong, or just sitting and chatting outside on the comfy outdoor seating. Hands down, one of the best beach homes we’ve stayed in. We will definitely be returning!

Best vacation ever!
This house is amazing! We had such an awesome time! We always saw some kind of wildlife on the wooded trail to the beach. The beach is not crowded. The kids had fun playing darts and ping pong! They have a variety of bikes and helmets! The top deck is amazing you are up with the tops of the trees! They have really comfy deck furniture! The owners are wonderful and accommodating.

Sunshine of a Week!
We had a beautiful and comfortable stay at Heart of the Sunshine. It was well kept and very clean. Nice and spacious for a family of 5. It’s located in an awesome part of the island- close to the point. We will definitely try to stay at the same place when we come back!

A wonderful week in a beautiful home
My family of 4 loved our week in this beautiful home. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The 3 balconies were great. Lots of comfy seating inside and outside.
It was a short walk to the beach on a shaded walking trail.
The kids got use out of the beach toys that were available.
We brought our own bikes, but we didn’t need to. There were PLENTY to choose from! Lots of sizes for kids and adults.
We didn’t bring our own beach chairs, but wish we would have. There were only 2 true beach chairs, and they didn’t recline back-so they weren’t comfy to sit in at the beach. There may have been 1-2 camp chairs, but we didn’t consider using those at the beach.
The washer and dryer was nice and big-they worked perfectly.
We loved seeing all of the island wildlife. Tons of deer! Box turtles. Tree frogs. Birds.
Don’t hesitate to book this great property.

This was a perfect family vacation spot. The house is beautiful and spotlessly clean but best of all is the location! Short, easy walk to the beach and the beach was not crowded at all. Thank you Biljana for opening up your beautiful home. Our kids are already asking when we can come back and stay in the exact same house.

Great anniversary weekend
My husband and I, plus our 2 adult sons, daughter-in-law and 8 yr old grandson celebrated our 50th anniversary at this lovely beach house! Having the bedrooms on a separate floor gave everyone privacy. The bathrooms were roomy, especially the master bath. The beach path to the beach was wide, safe, and quick. Just turn right at the back of the house. My sister's family visited and we walked over several streets to the beach stairs for the best views of the sunset. We have gorgeous photos, including the sunset through sea oats. The living area and kitchen were great. And our grandson wanted to play ping pong ever spare minute. We will definitely go back in the future! (Btw, we ordered a delicious decorated cake at Lowes in Cape Carteret.)

Quick weekend getaway
Very nice location. Easy walk to the Beach. Biljana showed such grace as I did not read the Welcome packet prior to arriving! Totally my fault but she assisted with my difficulties without judgement! Thanks for that!! Comfy accommodations. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and wonderful Host
From the start the Host was exceptional with great communication. Check-in was a breeze. Location is great, short walk to beach and trees surrounding the house to help with the wind. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again.

Went for New Years weekend. Close to the beach and the point beach access. House was stocked with everything you need to cook. The property felt tucked away so you had privacy but it was close to everything. Biljana was great to deal with and communication was excellent. Would book again.
