This was one of the hardest places to leave… everything was perfect! Can’t wait to go back!

After traveling for almost 20 hours, this condo was an AMAZING place to come home to! The windows create a wonderful place to read and enjoy morning coffee. The beds were absolutely heavenly! The condo was stocked with items that most people would forget about, like coffee filters, beach toys, coolers, games, puzzles, etc. The space was very clean and has a very relaxed atmosphere, not to mention spacious. Had to reach out to the owner a couple times, and she was very prompt and helped us very quickly. The entire process made this a memorable vacation for all of us! Our family has visited the island several times, and there is no shortage of things to do and see. The fireworks on New Years Eve over the water we’re spectacular!

Overall, great location to Port Isabell, groceries & eateries. Access to beach was easy. Check in was subpar. Finding the parking was easy but once you are there, the email says to check in at the front desk to get your wristbands/parking permit. No one was there. It was 4pm. A guy saw us walking around & helped us to get the parking permit from the 'office'. At no time in our week stay, did we see anyone in the office. It was never clear about where to get wristbands as the man who passed out the parking permit had no idea. We just let it go assuming if it were that important, someone would tell us. Come to find out from others staying there, wristbands may be required for times like Spring Break. As for the condo itself, the sofa pictured (it is leather) is not the sofa in the unit (some kind of material). Also, the pictures don't reflect the dehumidifier that is on the counter by the sink (it has a hose that runs and drains into the sink). Neither was a big deal but just noting because they are different than the pics. All 3 bedrooms have their owns baths/showers which was convenient for us. The first bedroom on the right when you walk in is really small. And the bathroom is extremely small. It is important to note the step in the picture that steps up into the bathroom. Then, you also step up into the shower. It is all very cramped. The only plug in that bathroom is behind the door at the floor and my cord from my hairblower wasn't long enough for me to actually blow my hair dry looking at the mirror LOL. The linens in all baths were nice although the bath towels were not very long. The amenities of shampoo etc were very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/plates etc. The beds were all wonderful (memory foam?). The patio is HUGE w/ a lot of furniture. Now, the remote controlled shades were a nice touch however, with the thermostat at 72 (the lowest it would go), the place was never very cool and we kept the blinds down the entire time to keep the sun out and as much coolness in that we could. There was a box fan in one of the bedrooms which came in handy. One last thing in that first bedroom on the right - the bed is pretty much up against the walls. There were no available plugs to charge ur digitals except behind the dresser which isn't convenient when ur r doing digitals then fall asleep & don't get out of bed to charge them!! Would we rent it again? Maybe, if the price is right!

Everything was awesome

The condo was clean and updated. We had everything we needed. We chose it based on location and larger patio with nice furniture for our whole family to enjoy at the same time.

Cannot wait to go back. The unit was clean and the view was something out of a movie. We all fell in love with SPI. Thanks for letting us stay!!

I stayed here with my family of 5. We had a wonderful time at the beach. The owner was super helpful and thoughtful, and the place was just as listed. Plenty of room for all of us. We'd definitely stay here again the next time we visit South Padre!

Took the family down for a quick vacation and this place and the host were great! Couldn't ask for a better location and the Condo was clean and stocked with everything we needed - even had 3 different style coffee makers :) I hope to come back soon and will look to stay here again before I look anywhere else. The host (Melissa) was easy to communicate with and was lighting fast on answering any questions I had.

It's was very easy to find the property at Vrbo. For personal reason we have to postpone the trip for a trip and the owner Miss Melissa Brown made it possible. She was so cooperative with us. She was awesome. Everything we needed was available in the condo. Just a perfect vacation home for us.

Very much enjoyed our stay; especially the fantastic, large balcony, as we spent lots of quality time out there! Well-equipped kitchen & large table helped with some great family meals!

Place was in a great location. Could walk everywhere. Very clean, and loved the big patio. One thing that would be great would be to rent the beach chairs and umbrellas the owners have. It would be a nice service to include. We had a great time.

Staying at Melissa’s home in the Ocean Vista towers was absolutely perfect for our family. We ended up booking the condo somewhat last minute and Melissa was so helpful when it came to answering all of our questions about the area as well as the condo and building itself. The condo is incredibly comfortable and we loved having the extra space for our family of 5. My favorite part was absolutely the balcony! The 9th floor felt like the perfect height above the beach. I probably would have sat out there the entire week, but it was a bit windy and chilly when we vacationed so I enjoyed it as much as I could. We also really appreciated being able to walk for groceries, restaurants, and ice cream as well as this cute little make your own jewelry store that my kids were in love with. We would definitely stay here again!

Condo was clean, very well stocked and just as described. Great location with beautiful balcony and ocean view. Our family had a great time and enjoyed every minute. We hope to stay again soon! Melissa was very responsive and helpful as well.

Great location right on the beach. Not too close to some of the louder spring break hotels and bars so was great for family. Large patio was great to sit on the evening and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Large dining table was excellent for playing family games in the evening and on the one rainy day. Would definitely stay here again.

Wanted a place to stay with family for the last of our spring breaks as the kids are all grown up now. The condo is the perfect size for our family. Fully stocked with anything and everything you will need for you stay. I mean everything. The condo is furnished with the perfect combination of wall colors and furniture. We did not want for anything while there. And the location of condo not only on the beach but so so close to stores, restaurants, and local bars that were easily all within walking distance. Whole family loved this vacation and the condo. WILL diffidently rent again in the near future. Rudy T.

My family and I visited South Padre Island for a family vacation between Christmas and New Year's. From the moment we opened the door, we were in awe of such a spectacular place! Besides the fact that it was meticulously clean, it was furnished with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay, including all the kitchen amenities (coffee maker, toaster, blender, small food processer), coolers (small and large), beach chairs, beach towels, toiletries (soaps, shampoo/conditioner, lotion), hairdryer, magnifying mirror. The list goes on! No icemaker, but we just bought a large bag of ice at the store which easily fit in the freezer. The beach decor was relaxing as well as inspiring. We had six adults ranging from 24 to 82...there was more than adequate room for all of us to hang out together, eat at the table together, as well as have a bedroom / bathroom to retreat to. We thoroughly enjoyed the large balcony overlooking the Gulf, the pool, hot tub, beach, local attractions, restaurants and night life. We also enjoyed some low-key time hanging out watching movies, playing games, and eating in. My adult children were especially happy to find a Roku TV in each bedroom. :) It was just the most perfect place for us to be together and enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Melissa's communication was wonderful; she immediately responded with answers to my questions. Check in was a breeze. It was extra nice having a reserved parking spot. Everyone we encountered on the property couldn't have been nicer. I can't speak more highly of this property and the most gracious host, Melissa. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed!

We had such a great time for our first trip to SPI! Melissa is THE BEST host - super responsive, accommodating, helpful, just absolutely wonderful! We’ve done numerous VRBO rentals over the years and she is fabulous! I wish she had rentals everywhere! The condo was just as described, clean, comfortable (the mattresses are phenomenal), and location perfect. We walked to dinners and the little fun park, as well as shops nearby to pick up supplies. Great location! You can’t go wrong staying here when you visit SPI! We know exactly where we’re staying next time we come back!

I picked the property for the balcony and view and it was spot on. Large dining and living room. Location was nice. Beds are comfortable. There is essentially no beach equipment so you should bring your own or be willing to rent chairs and an umbrella. The master shower/toilet area is so small you have to climb in the shower to close the door.
