Spectacular view, beautiful clean beach, friendly staff, lots of fun attractions conveniently located near by, kitchen essentials fully stocked.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Great view. Kitchen needs some updating. Cabinet doors dont all shut very well. For the amount of people we had and the length of stay, we had to purchase more trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. Parking was an issue a few times, but we figured it out. Communication was great. Everything happened as promised.

Our stay at this location was really nice. The view from inside the living room, with floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors made the inside feel outside. With the southeast position of the unit, your view of the large high rise condos of Myrtle Beach made for a nice feature of a distant landscape and not a close annoying looming neighbor. As the largest building looking to the south, your view from the location is very nice. The only issue with the view is furniture on the balcony. The inexpensive hard plastic chairs did not allow for a comfortable relaxing experience. The view is so relaxing that we considered purchasing mid level pieces to replace the $10 plastic stacking chairs that were present during our stay. We would definitively return for another week, just may need to bring better balcony furniture. The outside seating is our only negative that we experienced during the week that we were at Carolina Winds. During the week we stayed, the location appeared to be at a 50% to 70% occupancy. With Twelve floors and approximately 7 rooms to each, 84 groups could fill up the pools and small ground level parking lot that are on-site. We did not experience any issues. The parking was manageable, never had to search for a parking spot during the day or returning at night. The beach access has a very small walk but required us to utilize the Public Access boardwalk through the dunes. The walk to the beach includes a ten foot stretch from the side of the property on to the public parking lot that leads to walkway for the beach. Not the best access, but not an issue during our week. The location was to us a big bonus. The traffic on the beach was moderate and vastly better when compared to Garden City and Myrtle Beach. The chairs and umbrella, set up every morning, was a nice amenity for $40 a day. Positioned perfectly between Barefoot Landing and Murrells Inlet, a 20 minute drive is needed but was preferred compared to the higher traffic tourist areas that would have provided more 'walk to' options. This property was a lucky find for us first time visitors to the Grand Strand and one that we can recommend.

The property itself is very nice. The pools are amazing & we enjoyed the hot tub. Very easy beach access. I love the bar & grill on bottom floor. As far as condo itself it is very dated. The sofas are extremely old and VERY uncomfortable. The appliances such as dishwasher, refrigerator(rust on front) and stove at least 20 plus years old. The kitchen cabinets have seen their better days. The wicker furniture could definitely be freshened up and repainted. Aside from that the flooring is new and two new blue chairs in the den. The unit was clean and the the wrap around huge balcony was wonderful.

The reason that we booked this condo was for the view. The rest was just gravy. May I say that the view was amazing and the gravy was quite tasty!
