We were a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. The property was absolutely perfect. The condo was really clean, renovated and well-equipped. We felt so at home. Thank you for the welcoming gifts - it was such a surprise and welcome to beautiful Maui.

It was a nice stay and the unit provides a good value for the area. Just some of the pros and cons:
Pros - The unit was clean and pictures/descriptions were true to how we found it. There was a nice little welcome package provided which was appreciated. The area provides a good jumping off point if you are going to explore the entire Island. It isn't the calmest beach on the island, but you can walk for miles in either direction and it isn't very crowded.
Cons (all small things) - You have to drive almost every time you want to go eat. There is a sandwich shop on site, but most meal options require you to travel a few miles. It would be nice for them to provide hand soap for both sinks. They provide a bar for the bathroom, but nothing for the kitchen sink. For those of us that like to cook, the unit needs a good, non-stick frying pan.
Overall - we would consider staying here again depending on what we wanted to do while on the island, but it isn't our favorite place we have stayed on Maui.

Excellent location at the quiet north end of Kihei with a long stretch of beautiful beach. Unit was clean and well stocked, except for hand soap. I appreciated the gift of a cooler bag full of goodies (nuts, chips, cookies). There were 2 beach chairs, a sun umbrella, and a small cooler. The sofa sleeper was surprisingly comfortable. The grounds were well maintained.

WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME AT THE CONDO WITH FAMILY WHO ALSO RENTED OTHER UNITS SO WE USED THE BBQ'S TO HAVE MEALS TOGETHER ENJOYING THAT MANY TIMES! RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TOTALLY!!

It was a good pleasant stay and we really liked the ocean view along with the thoughtful amenities provided by the owner including a welcome gift. There were couple of small issues though as wifi and coffee machine were not working plus considering its a side room the ocean view was a bit limited.

Lovely spot right on the ocean. Room was very clean. Pretty basic but it had everything we needed. Loved the location being so central on the island. The hot tub was delightful for evening relaxation after busy days venturing around the island. Hearing the ocean waves at night was very peaceful.

This was a perfect place for a laid back relaxing vacation. Walk right out to the beach, everyone we met were friendly. We would definitely book this property again. Only problem with the stay was not enough required incidental’s available for the stay.

To say that we loved this condo would be a complete understatement!! It had the perfect views, very quiet, and every kitchen item you need! Even had a cooler and beach chair that we used. Our kids had a blast and we all felt right at home and surely did not want to leave! Check in process was simple, and after arriving late at night, it was wonderful being able to get right into the room with our kids! I would fully recommend staying here to anyone!!

To say that we loved this condo would be a complete understatement!! It had the perfect views, very quiet, and every kitchen item you need! Even had a cooler and beach chair that we used. Our kids had a blast and we all felt right at home and surely did not want to leave! Check in process was simple, and after arriving late at night, it was wonderful being able to get right into the room with our kids! I would fully recommend staying here to anyone!!

The owners left great instructions which made it easy to access everything like internet and pool. Comes with a parking spot. Out of all our friends, we by far had the nicest rental. The views from the balcony are gorgeous, and the Sugar Beach Resort is a high quality location. You can barbecue right by the beach, hot tub, swim, or whale watch right on the grounds. We also recommend the restaurant Dina’s Sand Witch, which is on the main level of the resort. Definitely recommend this place!

Relaxing stay at Sugar Beach Resort #3
This is our 3rd time at sugar resort beach. We love the property. It is easily accessible, has lots of parking, beach views, and much more. The apartment was well furnished. The bed and coach were very comfortable. The laundry is brand new and a great amenity when you’re swimming all the time. The kitchen is stocked with everything you can think of. The internet is also top tier at this apartment. If you’re looking for a clean and stocked place, look no further.

Overall we had a great stay. The room was very clean and it had all the necessary admentities. A washer and dryer in the unit was a big plus. I just wish the place had more beach towels. There was only 2 beach towels for 4 people. Internet was a huge problem. It did not work most of our stay. In addition the mattress was very uncomfortable.
