Happy peaceful atmosphere in the heart of city. I enjoyed the sport bar just nearby and all the restaurants too. Staff were great

Rooms are very tight for an extended stay

The hotel is a combination of bookstore, cafe and accommodation. It gives a relaxing vibe compared to the usual hustle and bustle business hotels. The ground floor is the reception, cafe, and bookstore. Accommodations are located from 1st floor onwards. There are laundry room and vending machines at the ground floor too. Breakfast provided is tasty. I really love the location of the hotel. It is located on the Tanukikoji shopping street, so you get easy access to shops and restaurants. Susukino, Odori and Sapporo station are just minutes away.

Due to the combination of cafe, bookstore and hotel, that means you get quite a number of customers at the ground floor, for coffee or to work/study. Although I booked a larger room, but it turns out to still be small. You can only open up about 1 large 28” luggage and 1 small cabin luggage before there is no space to walk. The basin area is small and low, so taller person like me need to bent down (I am 6 ft). Amenities are provided at the reception. Breakfast selection is limited.

Great location. Liked the concept,

Very cramped tables. Couldn’t sit anywhere (even the 8 seats at reception) without buying a drink or whatever. No where except room to read a book quietly. No bottled water. No tea or coffee in rooms. Staff under the pump so no time for pleasantries. Automated check in and out so little human interaction
