Quiet and tranquil location. Nice interior design. Excellent communication from the hosts.

thick stone walls kept it cool in the heat, but would also be warm in winter (nice log burner and central heating)
very comprehensively equipped and detailed instructions
nice thick towels, loads of books, games and DVDs for when the weather takes a downturn.
very comfy bed, comfy sofas, attractive village with easy access to lots of visitor attractions.

The village of Langcliffe is beautiful. The cottage was comfortable and cosy. Great communication from hosts.

Lovely cottage in the Dales, we had a very comfortable stay here and loved how cosy it was. Great location only 5 mins drive from Settle town centre. Really comfortable bed! Free parking just down the road (not a guaranteed space but we never had any problems finding anywhere to park). Helpful information provided by the cottage owners.

Perfectly located for the town with its train station, shops, cafes, and pubs with friendly beer gardens. Or head out the other way and you can stride out onto a walk directly.

The cottage was exactly what we needed. In an excellent location for the walks we had planned and within distance of Settle.

Cosy cottage with more than we would ever need. In the centre of hamlet so we got chance to meet locals. Lots of info too , enjoyed our walks rather than treks all starting from the cottage. Ie car stayed parked an we walked. Great tip re stroll down to settle on old track.
