This house felt like a home. It was super charming and so was the neighborhood. All our kids rated it a ten. The attention to every detail was noted: Italian lights, porch swings, art on the walls, plenty of paper products and super clean! The beach is a short walk and super gorgeous! You will not regret staying here.

To help others make an informed decision here are our observations (in no particular order): Positives: 1) Well equipped kitchen. 2) Location was great for families. Short walk to park and one of the pools (the more family oriented one frequented by smaller kids). Short walk to beach walkover. 3) Chairs available on the beach were an awesome amenity. There are actually 4. 4) The promenade is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch at night. 5) Comfortable beds and pillows (we prefer firm and slept great) 6) Large TVs with Rokus 7) Thermostat was very responsive and efficient Considerations: 1) Washer dryer was very small capacity so guests just need to plan accordingly 2) Having a golf cart (not included) was a major help to take advantage of the rest of Carillon since the house is on the far west side. With smaller kids and/or older family members, walking to the village may be too much. Also helpful to transport all the beach necessities for everyone. 3) The shade offered by the promenade trees is a positive but that along with the fact that houses are packed tight on top of each other limits natural light and makes the house feel less “beachy”. Not a bad environment just different. 4) The amount of stairs and nature of them may be tricky for older or younger guests. Stairs are in fine shape, but they are wooden and a few of us had a couple spills. 5) Bedroom on main floor was very small though it had a king bed. The attached bathroom was small too and shared with kitchen in close proximity. Not ideal for guest(s) if they want more privacy. Negatives: 1) Furniture on top floor deck was very uncomfortable and some chairs were broken. 2) Cleaning was ok…Our feet were black within 30 minutes after arriving. Light fixtures and around furniture all very dusty. 3) Bedding…email from Vacasa warned that there are no comforters. All beds had extremely thin sheets and very thin “fuzzy” blanket which was the equivalent of sleeping under a bath towel. This blanket also didn’t fit on one of the king beds. We had to combine a few blankets from the unused bunk to ensure 2 adults were covered. Extra bedding for pullout couch was dirty…looked like blood stains… I would bring my own bedding next time. We will absolutely be coming back to Carillon Beach - can’t say enough good things about the community.

Location is ideal. Heated pool adjacent to the row of houses. Beach is just a short walk away. The porches provided an environment of privacy to read, visit, rest, or sleep. Plenty of inside room with comfortable beds and pillows. While only 2 of us spent the week here, it will be ideal to return with our kids and grandkids.

The yellow house was very clean and well prepared for my family. And, it was very close to the beach! Only reason that I give 4 stars is that there was any good pots and pans. They were all scratched so bad. We had to buy a new wok from Publix.

We were at Carillon for a family wedding and the house comfortably accommodated the entire family except the bride to be. This was our first visit to Carillon and it is beautiful. Our only criticism of the house is that it has parking for only two cars and we did not know the location of other spaces away from the house.

We truly enjoyed spending time in Lovely Day. We had a total of six adults and four children and everyone had ample space to relax. The house is in an excellent location for children to utilize the playground and pool. My only suggestion would be to have more comfortable outdoor furniture.

The day we arrived the refrigerator was not working. We didn't know that until we loaded food into it. Next day before someone came to check it. Second night kitchen faucet began pouring water. Turned water off. Took repair man all day next day to change faucet. I stayed in the house two days waiting for repairmen.
