Two life long friends getting together to sew. Great space. We brought our own
folding sewing tables. Lots of electrical outlets, great lighting and space.
Very well equipped. Perfect for two. One of us had the bedroom, the other slept on the sofa bed.

Clean & quiet. Hideabed is quite uncomfortable but worked fine for kids. Really nice couple that run the place. No kitchen or laundry, but that was made known in the advertisement. No surprises. Really nice place close to Qualicum.

We loved everything about Country Blue, it was spotless with lovely decor. So much thought and care has gone into this place to make it a great stay. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The special touches provided by Faye were both surprising and endearing. After a tiring journey we were delighted to find cream and sparkling water in the fridge and also a loaf of delicious banana bread waiting for us. My partner and I enjoyed a weekend stay at this lovely property and we were very happy with the communication, check-in, and property amenities/condition. We would highly recommend this suite for anyone wanting to explore along Highway 4 as it is a quick 5 minute drive to get going!

A hidden gem off of the beaten path. The suite was absolutely spotless, amenities were all that we needed and the bed/pillows were so comfortable (a very nice end to travel days). The hosts were top notch and very very good at communicating, we will definitely be staying at this property again.

We had a 4-night stay at Country Blue suite. Convenient location, good suite size, well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, and much more. The suite was spotless clean, fresh and welcoming, it is also very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the barbecue and outside area. Kids liked this place so much😊 ! There's a complete serenity in the area, lots of fresh air, and wonderful garden. Faye and Don are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely choose it again!

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days at Country Blue while we were in the Parksville area for a family event. The accommodation is located in a quiet area, but is still close to Qualicum Beach and its amenities. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and homey. Oh, and the banana bread the owner leaves as a welcome gift is delicious! We will definitely stay here again when we come to the Qualicum Beach area! Thank you, Faye and Ron, for sharing your lovely home with us.

We enjoyed our stay. We were visiting family in Parksville and this was the exact type of place we were looking for. It was immaculately clean and the area is so peaceful. Great place to unwind after a busy day. Hosts were super friendly and easy to get ahold of. Great banana bread!

Such a lovely place with many special touches here and there! In addition to a portable BBQ on the patio, we found just about everything we needed in the kitchen - an electric burner and even a rice cooker! Very quiet and pastoral area but still only a few minutes' drive to the town. Would love to come back here again!!

The property was great - large basement suite in a modern house with good size bedroom and some kitchen facilities (mini-fridge and induction plate). Very clean throughout. Lots of books, games and DVDs for families.
The host, Faye, was very responsive, and though we only communicated by text, seemed like a lovely person.
Would have liked to relax on the patio at the back, but weather was not cooperative!
Bit of a drive from town/beach (not walking distance), but still quite handy. Very quiet spot if that's what you are looking for, and we definitely enjoyed that feature.

More than expected!
We arrived later than expected but we’re pleasantly surprised at the ease of check in and how welcoming the suite felt. We had all the supplies required, videos, books, relaxing decor. Felt like home, couldn’t ask for better! Host were lovely people also which is a bonus.

Quiet and relaxing family time.
It’s a very cozy, quiet and welcoming setting. My girls really enjoyed Faye’s banana bread and playing darts as well. The garden at the back, great spot to unwind and enjoy a cup of tea. The suite was super clean and well prepared for a comfortable stay. One small suggestion, may be extra fans, please. Other then that we had a awesome stay. Thanks Faye and family.

This amazing little gem of a place was perfect! The hosts were friendly and helpful. The little apartment had everything you could want in a rental. The serene Patio was the perfect place to start and end our day. I can’t rave about it enough!

Relaxing and Quiet Getaway
Faye was a dream of a host! She made this such a comfortable home during our trip with personal touches and friendly communication. The place itself has everything you might need for a family of four and serves as a great base for exploring nearby towns/beaches (you can even squeeze a quick day trip to Tofino).
Beautiful and well-thought-out space! Would stay here again.
