Everything about our holiday at this beautiful place was fabulous and the experience summarised by so many other reviews. Lovely hosts javier and family were welcoming, warm, helpful and unobtrusive. Nice welcome pack, spotless apartment with everything you need. Fantastic location with supermarkets and restaurants on the doorstep. Wonderful terrace with amazing views, sun or shade all day/evening. We will return either later this year or next. Muchas gracias!

Fantastic holiday!

Javier and Rosario are brilliant owners. They provide a fantastic welcome pack and their home has everything you might need and is very clean and well presented. This house is situated in the heart of the village of Frigiliana and so the shops and restaurants are easily accessible. The views from the superb roof garden are stunning. Because of the location of the house, parking of a car is not possible outside the house, but the home owners arrange for the use of a parking space a few yards away. A lovely home in a wonderful village in a superb setting. Wonderful home, hosts and holiday. Definitely worth a visit.

Logement spacieux, jolie terrasse avec petite piscine pour se rafraîchir. Très agréable le soir pour prendre le frais et très calme. Quelques sorties autour de Frigiliana : Mijas, Antequera, Nerja et Competa.

My husband and I had such a wonderful holiday here. we knew the moment we arrived that it was going to be perfect. Javier and Rosario were so kind and we felt so welcome to their lovely spotlessly clean house. We loved the beautiful traditional style of the house with gorgeous tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. There was a very generous welcome pack which was much appreciated because we didn't have to rush out to the supermarket. The roof terrace was very spacious with shaded and sunny areas sun loungers and a great little pool to cool off. and look at the wonderful views . The wifi was very good and there was British t.v channels. We love Frigiliana and found this was our best rental yet it had everything, near town and the restaurants yet very quiet. Thanks Javier and Rosario hope to return next year

My second experience at this beautiful Villa, previously in 2012 and the place is as beautiful as ever. Extremely well equipped...all facilities we could require. As it was early in the year we found the evenings rather chilly however Javier and his son, Nicholas, scoured the village for logs and we had an amazing log fire (2 or 3 evenings) which kept us snuggly!! Daytimes were tremendous out on the well equipped terrace along with occasional dips in the plunge pool..yes it was actually warm enough to do that despite cool evenings! And of course, Frigiliana itself, we couldn't wish for more bars, restaurants and cafe's. Ate out every evening, some breakfast times..just glorious! Shall go again!

My wife and I decided to see out the cold Scottish winter by spending 3 months in Frigiliana. Living in the village was a great experience and the property is ideally located for shopping, eating, walking or just lazing in the winter sun on the spacious terrace enjoying the fantastic vista. I even ventured into the plunge pool on a particularly hot day. The apartment is spacious with all the amenities you will require and excellent WiFi. In the cool evenings the log burner is a treat with plenty of wood sourced by the owners. Regular linen changes were supplied and Rosario and Javier make excellent neighbours and are on hand to help with any emergency or offer advice and assistance if required. The also respect your privacy. Over all we enjoyed a 5 star experience, in a 5 star property with 5 star hosts.

Once again perfect but this time for 2 weeks! This was our third stay in this beautifull villa and this time we stayed for 2 weeks. Everything was as usual spotless when we arrived with a lovely warm welcome from Javier and Rosario. Staying for 2 weeks you really begin to live with the peace of this beautiful village and each morning you wake up with the sounds of the village and animals in the hills. Frigiliana looked even cleaner this year with a lot of effort put in by everyone in the village. The feast of Saint Anthony was celebrated on our first week and it was lovely to watch the procession from the church down to the river bed. We will be coming back next year once again to this amazing place and we would highly recommend this property alongside any of Javier and Rosario's other properties in the area.

The apartment was well equipped and came with a very generous welcome pack. Javier and Rosario were always to hand if you needed them but allowed us the privacy to enjoy our stay. Lovely holiday, perfect hosts. The views from the roof terrace were breathtaking. Highly recommended. We have already booked for 2015.

This house is the ideal place to get away and relax, the villa is outstanding,its private terrace looks over the beautiful whitewashed town of Frigiliana. This immaculately kept villa is a credit to the owners Rosario and Javier, who are extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating. This was our 3rd visit and I plan for many more. thank you

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the heart of the beautiful village of Frigiliana. Javier and Rosario have created a lovely space which offers everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen / dining / lounge space works really well, providing a cool and comfortable room which is spacious and very well equipped in all of its areas. The bedroom and bathroom are excellent too. The 'jewel in the crown' of the accommodation is undoubtedly the terrace. It has a delightful plunge pool, perfect for cooling down on hot days, as well as areas to lay in the sun or out, to sit quietly in the shade, or to eat looking out over wonderful views. All of the accommodation is finished to a very high standard and is a pleasure to stay in. The location is ideal for walking down the steps - or up if you are feeling energetic - into Frigiliana, to enjoy its narrow cobbled streets, traditional white washed houses and numerous bars and restaurants. Javier and Rosario were the perfect hosts. We couldn't recommend this holiday rental highly enough and will definitely look to stay there again.

This really beautiful, excellently equipped traditional style Andalusian home near the centre of Frigiliana is the ideal place to go for a truly relaxing break. The roof garden is amazing, with stunning views where you can relax in seclusion. Only a short walk to the village centre with a good selection of shops. Very good places to eat nearby where the cuisine is varied and of high standard. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

This villa is in a great location in the historical part of Frigiliana, with the beautiful narrow cobbled and tiled streets and lanes with steps or paths leading to various bars, restaurants, shops with great views over the surrounding country side, the mountains and down to the coast. Rosario and Javier are nice friendly hosts and we met Claudia their daughter too, who gave us our keys and showed my wife and I around on our arrival. The charming town house accommodation on the upper level of the building is mainly open plan with everything you need and the outside roof terrace including plunge pool was marvellous for enjoying the sunshine (yeah in October). A very good welcome pack was provided including bread, meats, eggs, water, fruit juice, wine, beer and all the basics you need to start of your holiday. We liked eating out and enjoyed the Garden Restaurant, Gusto, Taberna del Sacristan and our local (50 metres down the road) Bar Fandango. My wife and I hope to return again next year.

We had a fantastic holiday, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing break. I agree with all the other reviewers - Rosario and Javier are so warm and welcoming and considering that they live downstairs, they were never intrusive; just there when needed. The apartment is comfortable and the terrace is just lovely, filled with scented potted plants and you could just sit and stare at the view for days. It is spotlessly clean and tidy, and the welcome pack is more than generous. We have already booked for next year, it was that perfect.

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment, it was lovely and clean with everything we needed, the terrace and views were outstanding. It is located in the village in walking distance of plenty of restaurants. As the apartment is located on steep steps, parking is not available outside but we paid extra for the parking space in a nearby garag e which was excellent and would recommend at busy times of the year. This is an excellent apartment with lovely hosts and would certainly recommend and would stay here again.

We have been visiting this villa for 8 years now and it just keeps getting better and better. The house is beautiful with everything you could possibly need. It is spotlessly clean with quality furnishings and decor. The kitchen has all the appliances you need as well as a great variety of utensils. Javier and Rosario leave a fabulous welcome pack which is second to none. Linen and towels, including pool towels are changed weekly. The terrace is fantastic with a plunge pool, bbq, lovely comfy furniture and a brand new pagoda to shade you from the heat of the day. The views are amazing looking over the rooftops and across the valley in front and the gorgeous hills to the rear. The attention to detail Javier and Rosario give to this house shows how much they care and are always happy to help out with anything you want. The best hosts a holiday maker could have. The house is in an ideal position within walking distance to all the fantastic restaurants and bars in the beautiful picturesque whitewashed village. A truly brilliant house.

We have stayed here twice now and have loved each visit. It is a cosy well equipped and homely apartment with so many added extras and so much thought given to guests and their needs for a week away. Javier and Rosario are helpful without being intrusive and will do everything to make your stay in Frigillana a special one. This apartment has a lovely outside space, a welcome plunge pool, built in barbie and comfy sun loungers, all perfect for a relaxing holiday. We are hoping to stay in another one of the villas owned by Javier and Rosario the next year and know that we will be received with a warm welcome. Would recommend this place, great for a couple wanting a self catering apartment within walking distance from good bars and restaurants in beautiful surroundings.

We recently had the privilege of staying in this beautiful house. We were welcomed with a lovely warm fire in the log burner and extremely generous welcome pack which kept us going for days. This house is very popular and it is no surprise that it gets booked up quickly. Javier and Rosario are amazing hosts and even invited us into their home for coffee on the morning we were leaving where they let us to store our luggage. Just wish we could have stayed for the duration of our stay. We will definitely be back. Just loved the house and the views from the pool area are stunning. Hemos estado una semana en esta casa con el propósito de descansar y relajarnos antes de volver a comenzar con la rutina diaria del trabajo. Los objetivos han sido conseguidos con creces. La casa tiene tal encanto que hemos pasado una semana fabulosa. La terraza tan bonita y bien cuidada con sus flores, su rincón para cenar y contemplar las estrellas, su piscinita para refrescarse, ... no le falta ni un detalle a la casa. Luego la ubicación de la casa está en el mejor sitio que se podría tener en el pueblo. También decir que los dueños de la casa, Rosario y Javier, son súper atentos y amables en todo momento. Cualquier cosa que necesites ahí está para ayudarte y resolverlo. Sin duda, en cuanto podamos, repetiremos. Muchas gracias y hasta pronto.

It was such a brilliant trip, the villa is so beautiful and has everything you could need. Frigiliana is gorgeous and the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with lots of sun and lovely views.
