We made our first trip to the Topsail/Surf City area this summer and we will definitely be back. The house was very clean and had so many things provided to us for our stay so we didn’t have to pack our whole house for the trip. The community pool was

We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice and the owner went above and beyond with snacks and drinks on the counter at check in.
The house was very nice all around and the views were great. We enjoyed the easy access of having our boat tied up on the day docks.
We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach house. Well stocked and great location. The pool is nice if looking for break from the sand. We took the kayaks out a couple mornings on the sound and saw dolphins both days.

We had a wonderful week and loved the Crooms Nest! It felt like home!! Very clean and welcoming and had everything we need plus some!!! We will definitely rent again next summer!!!

Great family vacation at this location! Beautiful accommodations and the attention to detail was excellent. On our arrival, flowers with a birthday balloon and snacks were waiting for us! What a nice surprise! The owner was very attentive to our needs and immediately corrected a few glitches. We had a beautiful week and would recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautiful home!

This property was perfect for our family of 6! The home was clean and well equipped and had plenty of books and puzzles. We were thankful for the boogie boards and chairs so we did not need to bring our own. We did try to reach out to the property manager both by text and via the app but never received a reply.

We had a wonderful stay at the Croom's Nest. The home and the location were beautiful. The property manager Jeremy was responded quickly to any inquiries and even had balloons at the house for when we arrived as we were also celebrating several birthdays during our vacation. Our party consisted of myself, my husband and five young adults ranging from 19-24 and there was plenty of room for all of us. If you are looking for night life, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to go to the beach, sit by the pool and partake in some water sports, you will enjoy yourself. We learned more about the island at the Missiles and More Museum just down the road, as well as the Turtle Rescue across the bridge. The kitchen was very well equipped, which I very much appreciated as we cook most of our own meals due to food allergies. I would highly recommend this rental for families that don't require a ton of activities to keep everyone busy.

From the spacious rooms, great community location and overall upkeep of the place was incredible. We loved how it was a quick 5 min walk to the beach. It was great having a community pool which the kids liked especially with their night swims. The best part is how quiet the area is where you can enjoy sitting out on 1 of the 3 decks at the property and relax. Jeremy did a great job explaining the area and even providing a great tip when to leave when your vacation ends. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to go!!

My family, my parents, and I (9 total) loved this home. Jeremy was a great host— friendly and responsive. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our week there. We especially appreciated all the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. We also loved the paddle boards. The house is a short walk (4 minutes) to the beach and the pool in the gated community is also a nice option Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Topsail.

Our youngest daughter wanted to have a beach vacation at Top Sail Island and I wasn’t sure I would find anything that would suit the needs of our family without breaking the bank. We had five children with us on this trip, aged 24 down to 10 and we had a son in law and boyfriend joining us. We had lots of space and didn’t feel cramped at all. When I saw Croom’s Nest on VRBO it looked too good to be true. It was one of the best appointed rentals we have been in. It was extremely clean and attention went into so many details by the owner to make sure that the renters had a fabulous stay. If you are comparing Croom’s Nest to other rentals, don’t hesitate to book it. You won’t be disappointed. You can walk to the beach, enjoy the pool. Sunsets behind the building are quiet and serene. You are minutes away from wonderful shops and dining. Jeremy the property manager makes himself available and offers great ideas for things to do during your stay including rainy day activities. Thank you Miss Phyllis for providing such a beautiful home and Jeremy for managing things so well. We will cherish the memories made there for a lifetime.

What a great property and community! This is perfect for parents with children-teens. It is a short walk to the beach. The community offers a pool, basketball court, small playground, and view of the sound. We were able to spend part of the day on the beach and afternoons and evenings in the pool.
We will definitely being going back!
