The location great-close to the beach. It would have been nice to have codes to the beach and the workout building-we had to ask other guests. We also had to find the WiFi password. 2 bags of dirty linens in the entry way and dirty linens in the washing machine. Also mildew in the shower. We also did not have the access code to get into our unit. I had to contact Vrbo and they got in touch with the manager. On a good note, the unit is spacious, looks out over the ocean, beds are comfortable and plenty of dish ware and pans. We had to buy a new can opener-another guest complained and it was never replaced. Also a high chair,baby bed and pack in play are in the unit. The pool is very nice- but was not heated as was stated.

Overall 211 very nice, appliances were top of line. Suggestions, can opener needs replacing (inoperable). We're from New Orleans, we always cook. Only 1 stock pot but plenty of smaller ones. Didn't find large stock pot (under sink) til we were packing to leave (lol). Just transferred cooked meatballs to another dish& washed out pot to make spaghetti. Lockbox opened fine but couldnt get it closed when leaving. All 3 beds were awesome, impressed there was a pack n play, plus crib n highchair. Nicely decorated too. Large balcony & view is gorgeous! 2 bathrms good size & huge master bath. We love Beach Retreat, been staying here for years.

We have stayed here for several years. One year, I waited too late to get the date we needed, and stayed at another complex. It was nice, but we all agree this is our favorite!

We had a great stay in this condo. We liked the second floor location because we could see and hear the ocean when on the balcony. Everything was clean and tidy. The furnishings have changed since the photos and are much improved. Would like a combination lock instead of the key...I had a little trouble with the lock box. Beds were comfortable and the linens were very nice. We had everything we needed. The pool area of this complex is big and wonderful. We used the grills for a crab and steak night! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything!!

We stayed in this wonderful condo the week of 4th of July 2018. We had 3 small family groups and it was perfect! The bedrooms were all good sized and all 3 had comfortable king sized beds, TV's and 3 spacious adjoining baths. The bunk beds, built into the hall, were great for kids or teenagers. The living room was a good size with newer, comfortable furnishings. With all the beach towels it was very convenient having a washer & dryer in the condo (located in hall bathroom). The balcony was spacious. It stayed mostly shaded during the day and was a great place to relax, have coffee, read a book and enjoy the view. The individuals that didn't want to go to the beach everyday could sit, enjoy the ocean view and people watch. A beach umbrella and 2 chairs, set up daily at the beach, were included with the condo. So anytime we went to the beach we gave them our condo info and were provided with a shady spot to enjoy the beach. We had plenty of room around us to add a couple extra beach chairs that we brought. They also rented kayaks & paddle-boards right there on the beach as well. The beach itself is kept super clean. Even the morning after everyone was shooting fireworks off on the beach, all the trash was cleaned up. It's a private beach for a few of the condo complexes so it rarely felt super crowded. The pool was a good size with plenty of chairs around it. The condo building is a smaller one and was actually very quiet overall. This condo is an end unit on the 2nd floor conveniently located by both the stairs & elevator. Parking was easy and plentiful in a private lot. The kitchen is the only part of the condo that felt a little small, but we cooked several meals for our group and the dining table is large and had plenty of space. We would all happily stay here again. Great experience!!

I will be taking my family back to this condo. Everything was great. Beautiful views of the beach. We seen dolphins every morning and every night from the balcony. They only thing that was wrong the week that I stayed was I didn’t have another week to stay.

This was our first time to rent 211 and we so enjoyed our stay. 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The only surprise was that there were only 2 very small pots for cooking, but we worked around it and it wasn’t a problem. Love this unit and will return again for sure!!!!!

The unit is nice. The furniture has been updated since pictures were taken. Everything was comfortable and it is very close to beach access. It is close to lots of restaurants and activities and has a nice walkway up/down 98. Kitchen is well stocked. The only shortcomings I found were that there were not any blow dryers provided in any of the 3 baths and also no travel shampoo/conditioner - not a huge deal but it surprised me because we have stayed in many other units where these items were always provided. Also, I think our unit was one of the only one without an electronic keypad entry. It had an old key holder that was kind of a pain every time you entered or exited.

My family visited Beach Retreat the week of May 23rd and had an unbelievable relaxing stay. We awoke each morning to green grass, white sands and an emearld ocean. After enjoying the beach we relaxed in the pool behind the condo surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Each night we grilled although we were near any type of restaurant in the area we wanted. One of my daughters is confined to a wheelchair but we found easy access. There is a nice bicycle/walk path that runs alongs side of the road. It was smooth enough to push her while I walked. We found the owners to be concerned about the quality of our trip. We were given directions and codes before arrival. This condo was the nicest my family has enjoyed in the ten years we have been vacationing in Destin.
