Great location, a short distance from the village, very quiet.
Strangely, the door mechanism on the bathroom door had been fitted back-to-front, meaning that the door handle had to be depressed to close the door, but it then blew open in a light breeze! Not very good for privacy.

The room was clean, bright and a fair size.
There was no welcome or in person contact from the resident hosts although they were in the house.
A phone number for queries was noted, with the Rules, in the room. A man I believe was a host was outside twice but never acknowledged me. (I could be wrong, but he was gardening etc..) My friends were staying at a distance, so as a solo traveler for one night arriving around 5:30pm, some advice on where to go for a light meal and a walk would have been appreciated. However, it felt very impersonal & cold. It was quite busy with what seemed to be long stay customers in the ajoining premises.
The toiletries were inadequate. The mattress seemed to be from the budget range.
