We loved staying here, especially sitting on the lanai each morning for breakfast. Maui Kamaole is a wonderful and comfortable place to stay.

The condo was spotless and very comfortable. The property manager was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The mountain views were beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the parking was great. The entire complex was very well maintained. We had a great stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kihei condo Maui Kamaole L203 is in a good location. Instructions on how to find and enter the condo worked smoothly. The unit is somewhat dated but was clean and suited our needs. The cost of travel to Maui has risen significantly over the past few years; we stayed at the same complex in 2018 over Christmas for half the cost. It felt like price gouging. If we'd not been joining another family who had already chosen this complex, we'd have tried to find someplace else. The outdoor equipment was useful but inadequate for our needs. We ended up purchasing a large beach umbrella and 2 additional beach chairs from Costco, which we left for the next guests to use. The pool was located very close to our room which was nice to use at the end of a day on the beach. Please note to any guests with mobility challenges, this is not a good unit for them. There is a long set of stairs up to the unit plus stairs inside the unit to get to the upper bedroom. Was ok for us but not great if you have little kids or elderly travellers. We'd have appreciated a more private upstairs sleeping area - the closet-style shutters do not block light or sound. View from the unit was wonderful.
