Escape to a lovely vineyard cottage near the Somerset Levels
Fenny Castle Vineyard Cottage trasuda carattere con travi di quercia a vista e un enorme camino inglenook e stufa a legna. L'ampia zona giorno a pianta aperta ha un divano in pelle, televisione con DVD e tavolino da caffè.
La cucina è moderna e molto ben attrezzata con lavastoviglie, forno a microonde e frigorifero con congelatore. Ha una zona pranzo con tavolo in rovere e panche per sedersi.
La camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale con lenzuola di cotone bianco e un lettino singolo adatto a un bambino. Il piccolo bagno interno ha una vasca con doccia.
Lenzuola e asciugamani sono inclusi
Il riscaldamento è centralizzato e il tornitore.
All'esterno c'è un ampio patio privato con tavolo, sedie e ombrellone ideale per rilassarsi e godersi la vista mozzafiato sulla collina.
Gli ospiti hanno una propria area privata per il parcheggio esterno al cottage.
I cani sono i benvenuti a £ 10, pagabili all'arrivo.

Lovely cottage everything you needed Lovely private area to sit dine etc outsideCar parking area does say no dogs allowed but did see reviews and some said their dog enjoyed it bit confusing would definitely stay again as within easy reach of wells cheddar Glastonbury James was very helpful

This property had all the essentials for a relaxing holiday with the new shower room being the highlight. With the fine weather we experiened during our stay it great to able eat out side using the table and chairs provided The cottage has relatively easy access to Wells and Glastonbury for their historical attractions and the benefit of two local pubs in Wookey for eating out in the evenings. Access to the Somerset levels was also reasonably convenient but be aware that the roads are mainly single lane with passing places. Gill was very helpful during the booking process and throughout our stay.

Had a lovely short break with boyfriend in the quiet Somerset countryside. Was our first holiday of the year since the pandemic and we were pleasantly surprised. Gill made us feel so welcome upon arrival. The cottage was stunning and we felt so relaxed, the wood burner is an excellent addition. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing break.

We visited the cottage for Christmas. Generally, we enjoyed the stay, however the cottage could have been better equipped and cleaner. The kitchen is lacking in basics – no soup ladle, very few glasses/ cups and not enough basic utensils. The TV is tiny, computer screens are bigger these days. This is something we wouldn’t mind in the summer when you spend most of the time outside, but in the middle of the winter during Christmas we spend quite a bit of time in front of TV as normally there is no time for this. Bathroom is dated with constant “drain like/sewage” smell. We have been visiting different places in last 5 years during Christmas time so have a bit of comparison. For the price paid we’d expect more. It is a beautiful cottage with a lot of character, it just needs a bit of updating.
