We stayed in October and loved our stay. The house was beautiful and an easy walk to the beach walkover! It’s right next to the pool we enjoyed our stay so much!

we enjoyed our stay and Fish and whistle house was very nice and space was great for our large family .. the stove top didn’t work but they’re were quick to resolve the problem for us .. I would have like to had darken shades for the bedrooms upstairs .. the beach was gorgeous and only a short walk to it .. pool was great .. will be telling my clients about the home ! Thanks for opening your beautiful home up so we could make wonderful memories together

This large home in our favorite neighborhoods- Carillon Beach- was perfect for our ‘23 family vacation!!
Quick walk to the beach and nice pool next door. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen, plus lots of games available. Extra washer and dryer helped.
Breathtaking views from the back deck of the sunset over Lake Carillon!
We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

The couch and chairs interior and exterior are nasty. The junk under the beds and the layers of dust on ceiling fans shows that vacuuming and cleaning rarely happen. The lack of cleanliness is surprising considering the cleaning fees charged AS ARE the “check out” instructions posted on the refrigerator indicating we needed to strip the beds and start the laundry. The washing machines have a lot of mold in them and the dryer door (Kitchen) will not close, dishwashers and other kitchen appliances need repair or replacement. The the list of needed repairs we experienced is too long to list and the outdoor grill is a danger and safety hazard. We loved the house and the community, just wished it was being managed better and in better condition.

This house has the best floor plan of any our large family has ever stayed in. We loved it and never felt like space was an issue at all. The access to the beach and pool and additional parking is excellent. Our only issues during our stay was the night security guard seemed ticket happy. We received 5 threatening warning tickets within the first 12 hours we were there. After I contacted Vacasa, the owner was very helpful and for that I am thankful. The only other thing to consider is about the Carillon neighborhood, we couldn’t find a wheelchair accessible route (ramp) to the beach. We definitely plan to stay in Fish & Whistle again.

Nice home and location but the bedrooms (aside from master) are small with tiny closets. On top of that, the closets were crammed with owner items rendering them useless

Lovely large home. Amazing family area and bunk bed room. Two dishwashers and two washing machines were great. Twenty minutes to the airport was also super convenient.

This was our 7th year in this house. It’s our family’s annual beach trip (16 of us). We love the house, it’s perfect for our big family. We love the area. Can’t wait to go back next year!

We have stayed at many houses in this neighborhood but we loved this one the most! Location is perfect, layout is perfect, and it has everything you need. Everyone has plenty of space to spread out and the fact that it is pet friendly made it even more perfect for us.

Process is "efficient" and contacts were "pleasant" - but it lacks a personal touch (the corporate call center vs a local contact, etc.) which is the reason for 4 stars (vs 5). I will say they were responsive to maintenance requests. The house was fairly clean and well stocked with essentials.
As mentioned we love the house, so we will continue to book for our annual visit. Overall, I do recommend 👌.

The Fish and Whistle is an amazing house for a large group. We had three families and plenty of room. The house is so close to both the pool and the beach. We look forward to staying again soon!

Great location for easy access to beach. Room situation was perfect for our group, since we had 9 boys and 5 dads, we each had our own room, and the boys enjoys the "dorm" atmosphere. We fished and caught plenty and kitchen was well equipped to have a great fish fry. The fire pit came in handy, and the large table made it great for games. Great Spring Break the boys will never forget.

Look out your window there is a lake..walk 200 yards u will find a sandy beach.

We stayed in this great house as a big family for my son‘s wedding. It was awesome! We loved the house. Vacasa made it very easy and the owners have a lovely house. We hope to come back again!

This property is just what we needed for a relaxing retreat away. Being dog friendly was an added bonus so our fur babies could join us. The amenities of being so convenient to the pool and beach was incredible! As the beach is not dog friendly, but we were mere steps away from the house to check on the pups. The other conveniences were grocery, restaurant, etc are right close by (even walking distance if you like) Would highly recommend this property to friends and family for a quick or lengthy get away...
