The property is bright and offers lovely views of Choptank River. We were there during a particularly windy period, and we still managed to have a very nice fire in the fire pit by the river. And we enjoyed cozy fires in the living room fireplace on chilly evenings. Janet is a great hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

My family and I spent a lovely long weekend at this property. Janet is a wonderful host and provided everything you could possibly need or want from the well stocked kitchen to more outdoor toys and indoor games than you can imagine. The house is spacious, well designed, comfortable, and very clean-- and has lots of wonderful outdoor space. The firepit area by the river is lovely and just sitting at the end of the dock reading and relaxing was just what I wanted. You can believe the pictures you see---everything is 5 star. PS- If your family is like mine, a TV in every bedroom was really appreciated!!!

We had a great experience in this beautiful home. The house was very clean, and the owner left treats to welcome us upon arrival. She was extremely accommodating and made herself available for anything we needed (although the house included all we needed and more). The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed for cooking and baking, and there were a variety of restaurant options nearby! We loved sitting on the front porch with our coffee to enjoy the beautiful river view. It was also fun to fish right on the pier! We didn’t luck out with weather, but loved that kayaks and paddle boards were available for use. There were a variety of yard games, too! We enjoyed the fire pit area by the river, and low tide provides a nice little sandy area for wading in the water. Cambridge has a cute little downtown area within walking distance for restaurants, shops, and a cafe. This is definitely a great little spot for a getaway!
