The property is in a superb location, a beautiful slab of rock, literally at the edge of the sea. The family running the property and Beachside bar are warm, friendly, and hospitable. The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable, with an amazing view to Corfu, Butrint, and downtown. Easy to walk many places as well, convenient too, restaurants and shops.

The property was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, given the proximity to so many businesses. (Late evening music boats not related to the property can be a little noisy, but earplugs will take care of that-consider bringing some in case.)

We chose this place because of the magnificent view from the balcony, and it was exactly as shown in the pictures — if not even better. The balcony was truly a treasure. We spent our evenings there, watching the sunset and enjoying the beautiful view of Thassos on the horizon. We also loved the little rocky beach just below the windows. It was so convenient, and there were always sun loungers available for us. We never had to go to the crowded central beach. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place for families with young children, but if you’re travelling without children, it’s perfect — peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The owners also provided us with a parking space, which turned out to be priceless, as parking spaces are extremely difficult to find in the area. Everything we needed was within walking distance. And finally, the owners were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I truly cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness.

I only wish we had some space for food prepping - to cut a watermelon or make a salad... But we knew in advance there was nothing like that, so it wasn't a surprise.

The sea view from our balcony, the location, 7 min walk to ferry and start of long promenade close to many shops, restaurants, bars. 15 to 20 min walk to centre. The family who own the accommodation were fantastic, Star, his daughter Gloria and his lovely wife could not have done enough. They make amazing coffee served in there their lovely sea terrace and gave us free beers on our first day. The rooms are basic but spotless. They have a kettle and large fridge plus hairdryer. The beds are very comfortable with quality crisp white linen and 2 comfortable pillows. Also black out curtains. After exploring Saranda I believe we chose the best spot, away from the busy and noisy centre but still close to enjoy everything on foot. The family also have sun beds on the flat rocks right outside free for guests, a welcome touch when you have to pay in most places. Beaches are just to the left and right. The sunsets while floating in the sea or from our balcony were stunning. I did a lot of research before booking and am thrilled I chose here.

This is a simple family run business with basic facilities which is what I expected. It is spotless, had everything I needed. I wouldn’t change anything.

Over priced for the basic style accommodation, the location and views were obviously what you are paying for. It was a shame the hotel didn’t offer beach chairs to sit on, as the rocks were uncomfortable.
