We enjoyed our visit at the Hampton Roads Cottage. The owners were very informative and responsive. The property was very clean and well kept. The proximity to the beach was ideal. The check-in and check-out were well explained and very simple.

One door was left unlocked upon arrive which was a red flag. The floors was VERY VERY VERY dirty when we arrived to check on house.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Willoughby Spit, the property was clean and quiet, and provided ample space and privacy for four adults. The location was good, very close to the beach. (The public beach access walkway was a short walk). We would have preferred a few more restaurant and bar choices within walking distant of the property. But would recommend this property.

We had very bad experience with property mangers didn't support to get remote replaced entire stay we didn't had TV in the house they keep promising and never come to repairs. We found mold dishes in the trash pot not cleaned and we found bad cleaning on sofa too. I wouldn't recommend this property mangers holding property service is bad and didn't get replies and after a day calling the phone numbers many times hit one time to speak with associate and she promised the service and take off clean charges never happens. First time very bad experience for the amount we paid was not worth it!!!

Tons of space and big rooms! We only stayed here for 2 nights when visiting friends in Virginia Beach area. It’s on a fairly busy road but having the water and beach so close made up for that. Added supplies could include tissue boxes and extra kitchen towels.
We would definitely try to book here if ever in the area again.

Home was clean and had many updates. Would have been nice to have a 9x13 pan to cook casserole in but we made it work with the smaller casserole dish provided and halved the recipe. Just a suggestion. :) Definitely worth the money. Love the shuffleboard table!

This place is baller! Pictures didn’t do this place justice! Plenty of space in the back yard was great for hanging out. Plenty of space for hanging out and grilling and having a great time!

Location was great!!!!Amenities superb.Absolutely a gorgeous vacation home.
Would surely recommend this beautiful home to other families who are looking to get away from their busy lifestyle. The beach was just wonderful and private.
