Great place to stay had a great time.

We have stayed in Barefoot Resorts a handful of times and we always love it there. The first night we were there there was a glitch with the fire alarms, and they kept going off for a few minutes every couple of hours. It was so bad it was funny. But I will say the maintenance man was wonderful, and he had it all taken care of by 10 AM the next morning. The main downfall of this unit was the fact that there is a cockroach issue surrounding the entire building. THANK GOODNESS we had zero in the actual condo… we would’ve 100% bolted and expected to be compensated. But it didn’t come to that. The unit was fresh and clean! But the cockroaches came out at night and there were times we literally ran from the car to the front door, while my teen girls were screaming lol. There was pest control almost every morning, vacuuming, and setting traps outside. There was a dead cockroach in the pool house for a few days. Just brought a lot of unnecessary unpleasantness. Having the pool so close to the unit was a plus though! And we loved drinking coffee on the porch every day, with our turtle friends. We will probably never stay in Cypress Bend again. I hope the issue gets fixed permanently for everyone’s sake, because this is a fresh, sweet, convenient little condo.
