Berati Castle Hotel

Hotel is amazing.

Low ceilings in the loft room, so we were constantly having to hunch over.

What an incredible experience staying inside the castle walls! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. You can really tell how much pride they take in the property. The first floor is hundreds of years old, and you can truly feel the charm and history of the place. Our room was very comfortable, and the entire stay felt like a unique opportunity to experience something special. The restaurant staff were spectacular, and Alexander was an impeccable host who made the experience even better. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. We highly recommend spending at least half a day wandering through the castle and taking in the history. There is so much to discover, and staying here makes the experience even more memorable. A truly special place!

Charming hotel , the service was excellent , the room very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast choice was really good , yogurts, meats cheeses and sweet treats. The position of the hotel is great - views amazing and a good selection of restaurants within a few minutes walk.

We only had a small which struggled to get up the steep incline to the hotel- if you can park outside the hotel it has much easier access. Go through the arch keep right then left

When I booked this accommodation I did not realise it is actually part of the old castle. We had a beautiful and comfortable room with wooden ceiling. We ate at the hotel as well and all the food and service was great.
