This weekend was time to spend with my daughters and granddaughter. My granddaughter attends UNE and we planned on visiting with her. The cottage we rented was the perfect setup for us. Two bedrooms with two beds in each room. Great little kitchen area with everything we needed and a comfortable living room. I loved the little gas burning stove for heat! Made it so cozy!

This is the 4th time I have stayed at New Harborview, but first time with the new owners. They made some great updates, the place was comfy, spotless and just perfect. This will now be our go to for our yearly vacations in Maine. No need to look any further.

My family enjoyed staying in this sweet cottage! It was the perfect location and walking distance to a dog friendly beach. The proximity to Congdon’s is a huge perk as well. It was convenient having the cottage well stocked with games, pots and pans and having the ability to cook our own meals on vacation. We had a great stay and would recommend

The location was perfect and the price was right. Some more deep cleaning would improve the accommodations. I cleaned the air conditioner filters when I arrived because they were filthy. There also were some cobwebs throughout the cottage.

The cottage was immaculate, freshly painted, tastefully decorated, and had very comfortable furniture. The mattresses are new, super comfy, bed linens are high quality. And talk about luxury--air conditioned and a brand new dishwasher, unheard of and we loved it! The kitchen is equipped with all you need for meals and happy hour. We had a dinner party for 5, full Italian feast was easy to prepare and serve. The huge screened-in porch is a big plus, although it was chilly during our stay we plan to make good use of it next visit. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, we'll be back!

The cottages are so lovely and comfortable! They are constantly improving and finding little ways for our stay to be more enjoyable!
This is our third stay and we look forward to the next. The owners are friendly and kind and attentive! It is a perfect spot, close to everything—distant marsh and ocean views. Walk to the beach (about 1 mile) restaurants and donuts just across and down the street :)
This cabin has an expansive screen porch with a view; a lovely place to read, relax, eat a meal, or even do yoga!
I can’t more highly recommend a stay at New Harbor View. Always feel so at home in all the ways you want a vacation to feel!

The cottage we rented was wonderful. Plenty of room for the two of us. Kitchen was nice. Outdoor area was nice as well, although it was a little cold out to really enjoy it. Entire process was easy. We contacted the property owner and she immediately fixed our issue. Thanks for a terrific weekend!

With the exception of the creaky bathroom door, a sticky porch door, and a tight shower, the cozy cottage was a very nice place to relax on a rainy day, and use as a base for our 3 night stay in the area. Owners were sufficient hosts, the grounds were well kept. Easy check in/check out…and VERY comfortable beds.

Very happy with manager answering to a problem (fuse blown and couldn't find fuse box) quickly. Spacious and loved the seclusion. We didn't arrive until around 10 pm and had hard time seeing the #12 easily. Either a map of the 12 cottages or glow in the dark numbers on cottages would have been helpful for anyone arriving after dark. We enjoyed our visit. Perfect location. We would stay again!!!

Cozy cottage with all the necessities. Owners were responsive to needs and location was great, right across the street from a food truck park which was great for a quick meal. Short drive (walkable) to beach.

Weird odor in the kitchen + could be cleaner + some mouse droppings noted. The place was charming with good space for 5 adults. It was nice to enjoy the porch and pool . Great location! It s close to the beach and many restaurants ! I would go back :)

We enjoyed our stay. It was chilly but expected for late October in Maine. The new owners plan to upgrade the property. We're planning to return at about the same time in 2022 to see the upgrades. It was a great weekend away, much needed after 8 weeks into the new school year.

The property is not at all what was advertised. The condition of the cottage was unacceptable with a disgusting carpet with huge stains, old and very used furniture., no parking spot near or even assigned to the cottage, a front porch that badly needed paint and in disarray. Very disappointing the owner refunded our charges and we had to find other accommodations after a long drive to get there. The pictures are not at all what you will find at this run down property.

Stacey and Chip were welcoming and quick to answer questions and requests for help, both before we arrived and once we were there. The cottages are in a great location, centrally located to visit north and south of Wells, as well as allowing you to walk to the grocery store, Congdon’s Doughnuts (get there very early or order the day before if you want the full selection!), and even out to Wells Beach if you want—it’s about a mile away. It’s a great location for a low key vacation.

The cottages are in a great location, centrally located to visit north and south of Wells, as well as allowing you to walk to the grocery store, Congdon’s Doughnuts (get there very early or order the day before if you want the full selection!), and even out to Wells Beach if you want—it’s about a mile away. It’s a great location for a low key vacation.
