Location excellent, may be less so if you have mobility issues, steep hill into town. Short walk for us it was perfect.Very comfortable furniture and beds.
The cooker hob didn’t work, used the instructions leaflet, three of us failed. A few more pieces of crockery would be nice.

Just needed some shelving or something in shower en suite so not bending all time or opening door letting water in, and sheets in main bedroom kept coming away from top

A lovely bungalow a short walk from town, it’s up a steep hill if walking back well worth it for the views, having a drive for parking is a huge bonus. Everything you need available and a lovely touch having welcome card, biscuits, tea/coffee all on arrival. The house is clean and well presented main bedroom nice comfy bed. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return or recommend to others. Thanks Fetchers Rest xx
The sofa was very nice but we didn’t find it very practical or comfy, that’s the only reason didn’t give full marks for comfort, there is a lovely bench in front garden to sit and enjoy the view to the sea and abbey instead if the suns out.

The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - nothing appeared to be forgotten. Lovely decor and nice and warm. Having its own driveway took the stress out of parking and the short walk to town meant we could forget the car for a few days. It was in a lovely quiet location too and being a bungalow, it was perfect for my elderly mum. Information and communication from the hosts was excellent. Would definitely recommend/book again if we return Whitby.
