This is our second year to stay in this community. On the Rocks was perfect for our weekend trip to kayak the Caddo River. It was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Highly recommended!!

Great place and every bedroom has their own bath! Just a walk across the street from the river.

This cabin housed one ‘branch’ of the family. Another branch stayed in a cabin nearby. Wonderful way to enjoy time together.

We needed a location to sleep 6 plus and came across this listing which allowed us to have so much more pace and ambiance than just getting three hotel rooms. We were able to invite more extended family to sleepover which made it feasible for them to attend the reunion and not be driving an hour or two each way for the festivities.
We had so much space our VRBO became the meeting place for a pre-union gathering and cookout! The pit group seating with an extra long dining room table and bar seating for an additional 6 made the conversations carry on through the evenings and we loved coffee on the patio in the outdoor furniture grouping.
The property was exactly as posted with excellent photos that allowed us to picture how well it would fit our needs.
The kitchen was fully outfitted and all our consumables were provided (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, paper towels, dish washer detergent and dish soap. There was a kreidig coffee pot, a regular coffee maker, a toaster, blender, crock pot, and all dish ware and cookware. The pellet grill was new to us but worked like a charm and the beds were extremely comfortable!
We had trouble with the freezer not cooling nor producing ice, but the host was very responsive and we made do with ice chests we had brought in and bagged ice.
The hosts made it so easy, we only had to adjust thermostats and take out trash when we left. We will be back!

Our family gathered from TN, TX and OK to celebrate Christmas. The house was great, beds for everyone, bathrooms a plenty, spacious open area for watching TV, playing games and opening Christmas presents. There was a lovely Christmas tree and other festive ornaments that decorated the house for Christmas. The kitchen was well furnished with cooking items, plenty of dishes and the appliances all worked well. We played Corn Hole, took walks in the neighborhood, and boosted the local economy my shopping in Glenwood. Chad and Amanda Miot owners of Slingerz & Shooterz Axe Throwing and Pool opened for our group to spend a wonderful evening of fun.
Christmas 2022 in Glenwood, AR provided many wonderful memories for our family.

Everything was just as listed. Place was very clean, plenty of towels for everyone, and the grill had plenty of wood pellets for cooking.

Week at Glenwood Ark.
Plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items. Next time I will wait and buy items needed in town, Wrights store is very convenient and well stocked. Grill down stairs used pellets, first experience using one. Our Nephew used it last year and and was happy to use it again this year. All room very comfortable, air conditioning works great, I was usually cold so going outdoors warmed me up.

Everything was Perfect! We loved our stay here. The River was an easy walk to and the house was amazing from the kitchen to the comfy beds!!! It’s all that and more if you’re looking for a place to hang out or stay in the River!!! We’ll definitely be back!

This is a new house with plenty of space for the whole family. It was so nice that everyone had their own bedroom. We came to Arkansas to do some diamond hunting and quartz mining and this location was the perfect spot to be within reasonable driving distance of everything that we wanted to do. We really appreciated having the camping chairs available for use during our stay. Just fyi, the house is in a dry county so try to plan ahead if you want wine/beer/liquor during your stay or you will be driving 14 miles to Amity (at night in our case). We would love to stay here again if we are ever in the Glenwood area again.

Great Christmas Getaway
This weekend was everything that my family and I needed. We have a large family and recently experienced a very tragic loss. The space allowed us to bring our family of 13 together from various corners of the state and celebrate together. It was an amazing stay.

i cant express my gratitude in words of how this lady, Mrs. Holland, welcomed me and my family, and how absolutely wonderful the house was stocked for our arrival. I was preparing myself for a rough week due to our mother leaving us but Mrs. Holland you made me and my family feel so welcomed; and when she came by to greet us was phenomenal. My family and myself speak prosperity and peace in your journey. we look forward to staying with her again.

The owner knows what may be needed for a stay all of it new. I can't remember ever having an ice cream scoop (it was used several times). There was even a deep pan for sausage gravy. The house had only been open for about a month so there should be no problems expected. We did have an issue with the wifi for the grand kids but it was the providers fault. Every text was answered by the owner. Yes, you have to cross the street to go to the river, but it is a gated community with a 10 mph limit. No problems made for a great visit. I certainly recommend OTR and am considering another visit. Thanks for allowing us to visit your place.

One of the top VRBO residences we have staye in.

This had to have been decorated by a professional because no detail was missed! Holland was a gem of a property owner and communication couldn’t have been better! The location was perfect! The house was just back off the river, which keeps foot traffic to a minimum, while maintaining a view of the perfect river play area! The walk to the water is simple and everyone from a toddler, to a pregnant guest, to guests over 65 were able to easily get from the house to the water.
We seriously did not want to leave! You could show up with your food and clothes on your back, and have every single thing you need for the week!
This trip was significantly better than most beach trips and much closer to home for us!
We enjoyed the porch, the grill, and lots games of Baggo under the house with a cool breeze while our guests sat and relaxed in one of the many outdoor seating areas.
When we build again, I want to model it from On The Rocks! We cannot wait to come back!
