It was very peaceful , surrounded by countryside and fresh air. Will definitely be back.

Well presented and exceptionally clean. Lovely location. Quality finishes and you can really tell how much thought and love went into the accommodation. Perfect for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Friendly and responsive hosts.

The lodge was lovely, comfy bed and the kitchen was great. Once we had read the instructions, we realised how to work the oven. No issues. A microwave would have been nice. Hot tub was fab and the scenery was amazing. We managed to walk the ridge trail and the hot blast trail. Loved being able to see so much wildlife, saw a deer, buzzards, red kites, frogs, a newt, butterflies and the horses in the fields. Would highly recommend as it was so peaceful
There was only 1 toilet roll and we were there 5 days but I read reviews regarding this, so brought some with me. Maybe more towels could have been provided, again I had read reviews and brought my own. A microwave would be a great addition to the lodge. But we had no issues and will visit again
