this home was in a great location near the beach at the end of a quiet street with a little dock on the lagoon. it was clean and the layout was great for two moms and three kids. the kitchen was clean and nice, but there was literally nothing as far as 'equipping' it. no aluminum foil or tupperwares for leftovers, no salt, pepper, olive oil. no coffee filters. none of the things you would expect in a kitchen advertised as 'well equipped'.
it was functional and was fine, but in my opinion there should be a not on the ad saying to bring all of your own needs.
there was also alot of trash already in the outdoor trash can, which didnt really bother us, but was strange.
all that being said i would stay here again and just know to bring my own kitchen staples. it was super convenient and was family friendly. vacasa was quick to respond to our questions.

We've been going to Edisto for many years and this year's visit was great as usual. This house is one of my favorite homes on the island. The location was close to the beach and secluded at the same time. It had a great screened in porch with a swing and plenty of rocking chairs. The kids loved the fishing/crabbing dock in the backyard. And this house had the best grass in the backyard -it was lush and had zero sand spurs. Loved having the towels, toiletries, and linens provided. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice house for a small family gathering or group of friends. Bathrooms are small, but adequate. Yard was great for dogs. House is perfect for folks that fish, dock right there plus ocean a short walk away. Would come back again. Cleaning people could do a better job.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was nicely decorated and the yard was great for our dog. We liked having the two king beds for the parents, the living room was spacious enough, and the kitchen table had plenty of room for 6 plus people. There was a lot parking available since the house was at the end of road. The property is less than a minute away from a beach access by golf cart, and only a few minutes if walking. I would definitely stay here again!

The location of the house is great (very short walk to the beach), but there is a huge lack of serving and storing dishes in the kitchen. There were multiple lids with nothing to use them on. I called twice about a wobbly, noisy fan in one of the bedrooms and they never came to address it.

Great house, great location, great value! Super nice and large lot for kids to play! Beautiful view of pond and short walk to beach. The only suggestion I would make is to stock the kitchen with a few more pots and pans. Everything else was fantastic!

What a wonderful house! We try to stay at a beach house every summer and everyone agreed this is one was our favorite so far. You get a nice break from the beach with the wonderful back yard and garage set up. The creek and dock had the kids entertained looking for crabs for hours. We thought the beds were perfectly comfortable for a rental house. It had plenty of amenities but could use a few more kitchen items. We had a great time enjoying the thunderstorms on the beautiful screened in porch. Can't wait to stay here again soon!

Loved the location and floor plan. The yard was terrific, the kids enjoyed looking for crabs by the water. One of the adults felt the bed needed improvement as she woke up with back pain, said it felt like sleeping on top of box springs. I had read a previous post that said the kitchen lacked pot holders and some basics, like salt and pepper. We left our salt and pepper and had to use a towel as a potholder. So next renters need to bring these! The front porch is fabulous and the house is at the end of the street, which was great.

Great for a small family
The house has a big yard, great for soccer or frisbee. Fun fishing dock. Very comfortable, easy walk to beach. We appreciated the boogie boards! Nice place, great location.

This property is on a quiet street that is a dead end. Perfect for families with kids.
Keurig worked great. There are plenty of dishes, cookware, flatware and cooking utensils. The cookware and knives need updating, it's all been well used. There were not any hotpads, so baking and removing items from the oven was very difficult. We used a towel to make it work.... One pot we tried to use for cooking shrimp ended up having a leak in it and caused a huge mess on the stove.
There were zero spices, no olive oil, no salt and pepper. All had been removed. We left some behind, but I would expect you need to bring with you or buy everything.
There were trash bags, and toilet paper. But would plan to bring some in case they are not provided. There is an iron, however there is not a hairdryer - you will need to bring that.
The beds are very stiff and bouncy, lots of spring. If you prefer a stiff bed you will love it. I did not like it and did not sleep well, my mother and father however were not bothered by the bed.
Sheets and bed covers were provided, nice quality.
The house was tough to keep cool - the air conditioner was struggling, directions state to not lower the temp below 72 degrees. If you prefer a very cool house, you may be warm during the summer. I would recommend to the owners to upgrade the AC unit.

Lots of beach toys for the kids and chairs all stored in the laundry room storage for use on the beach. The boogie boards were all broken, would recommend renting or bringing your own.
The entire house seems to have been updated recently, it was clean, paint is very nice. Just a few updates that could be addressed and would make this an even nicer rental.

Family Beach Trip
This property is on a quiet street that is a dead end. Perfect for families with kids.

We had a great stay at this beach rental. The property was clean and organized with all of the amenities needed for a few nights at the beach. The screened in porch was perfect for hanging out with family. So close to the beach. Easy to walk. We loved our stay and wish we had been able to stay longer!

Great short girls weekend
Very clean and comfortable home for everyone. We had a girls weekend for family before new baby arrives. Found home to be just like the pictures. Location very close to beach and at end of road so very private. Loved the front porch complete with chairs and swing. Wish we had had more time to stay! Beds and baths comfortable and sanitized. Would certainly rent again for longer stay.

This is the perfect location, away from everything but close to the shore. It sits back off the road and has water behind it for a great view. The layout inside was great. We really enjoyed it.

LOVED that the sheets and towels were included!! Much less to have to pack! Beds were just "okay" but all 4 twin beds really need better mattresses. Cute and clean and LOVED the screened front porch and swing! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends. Had an issue with the dishwasher not working properly but we managed through our short stay without it and notified the agency upon our departure.
