This is a family run villa, and they are so incredibly lovely. They provided us with a plentiful welcome basket upon arrival, and cleaned the property every 3 or 4 days. The villa has so many balconies and a beautiful view all the way to the sea, and a stunning outside eating area by the pool. The pool was kept impeccably. We didn't want to leave, and would have happily stayed longer. The location was great, as it's a very private road with a little beach at the end, but it's also accessible to a veg and fruit market which is a two minute walk around the corner, along with many little market shops to buy gifts and essentials. There's even a tiny local rental car place around the corner, but we already had one. Grocery shopping, etc was a 5 minute drive away, and the activities were plentiful. Because Corfu is quite small, we could easily drive to a variety of places around the island in 30 to 40 minutes, so the villa ended up being a great central hub. The only thing I would suggest is to get a small car, because the roads are narrow and a bit treacherous in places, so you don't want a large vehicle. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating. In fact when I asked where we could buy some of the lovely treats they bought us, they told me, but then brought some over. I never expected such generosity. It was such a warm, kind, enjoyable experience. We would definitely go back to Villa Alexandra and cannot recommend it highly enough.

The pool umbrellas need a tall person to put them up or help from the owners. The wifi can be patchy, but we asked the owners to reboot it which helped. An extender / booster would be useful in that villa.

Location was perfect for our requirements. The pool area was incredible and everything inside the villa was perfectly clean and furnished to a high standard. The balconies were also fantastic.

We loved everything about the villa and would happily recommend it to family and friends. Our host answered all the questions we had prior to our visit promptly and was available if needed advice during our stay.

We have just had the most amazing week staying at the Villa Alexandra. I can’t rate the Villa highly enough, it has surpassed all of our expectations and is even more beautiful in person than on the photos. Eleni is a fantastic host, she met us on our arrival with a basket of food and drinks, and the villa was cleaned thoroughly twice during the week with fresh towels and sheets, and every day the pool/outdoor dining area was also cleaned. The villa really is immaculate and so clean, we were so impressed. Everyone involved in this villa is just amazing. We would certainly return, this is one of the best villas we’ve stayed at and I would recommend it to anyone, particularly groups/families. The outdoor area is the star of this villa, we used the BBQ every evening and spent hours in the pool, it’s such a beautiful space. The location is great, around a 3-5min walk to the main road in Dassia, with loads of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and supermarkets within a short walking distance. The beach is also worth a walk, with more restaurants etc along the promenade. We will definitely return to the Villa Alexandra. The Ewen/Hay families

Honestly, nothing, it was perfect

We had a welcome basket on arrival and everything you need like milk, first aid kit, hairdryers, toiletries, utensils, etc., very clean and smelt lovely as we walked in, it was cleaned halfway through the stay, friendly and accommodating host who we could contact at anytime, pool area amazing, well stocked kitchen, great outdoor spaces, comfortable bed, good transport links, easy access to shops and restaurants.
