It was incredibly quaint - lots of historic charm! Just was so unique and special. You do need to be prepared for the steps, they are likely not for everyone but they were what made this so special. The apartment was well equipped. It is right in the middle of everything and very convenient to the train station, castle and palace. Loved it!
Nothing too significant. The batteries in the thermostat were dead when we arrived. Luckily we had some we could put in and use. The pull for the blinds in the bedroom needed to be fixed - again, minor. And the bar outside was noisy but we still were able to sleep.

Lovely apartment with excellent location. Well equipped (the only lacking is washing machine). The spiral narrow staircase is rather challenging especially with luggage.
The noise from the pub is rather loud.

The location
The spiral staircase was a challenge but is part of what you get with an historic building.
