The home is beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed and plenty big enough for a family of 5 (or more). The location in Oxnard is ideal, being a very short walk to both the beach and the marina.

We truly enjoyed ourselves for 3 weeks in this property. The place is clean and well equipped with everything you need. From the detergent to the shampoo. The rooftop deck was a favorite. But all the decks were beautiful. The location is breath taking and I will come back to this property again.

We stayed here comfortably with five adults and two teenagers for five nights over New Year's Eve. House is clean and well-appointed with two outdoor decks, an enclosed deck and a roof-top deck with a beautiful ocean view. It's a two-minute walk to the sand or to the Harbor. A great find - definitely a property we will consider again when coming to Hollywood Beach.

This house was just as advertised and Stephanie was the best manager I have worked with yet from VRBO. However, I did not read the Pet Policy closely enough as I was more interested in getting enough beds for our group of nine! Unfortunately there was cat hair prevalent and one member of our family is very allergic to cats. It was clear a cat had been in this house from the hair we saw and picked up on our clothes. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and I will pick a house with a NO PET policy next time

House is in a great location. Well stocked kitchen; nice decor, other than upstairs bathroom … a little offensive (we had children with us) roof top area was a favorite for all. We would stay here again.

Cute place with lots of room for family or friends. Good walking access to the beautiful white sand beach, water, harbor, good restaurants, sea lions viewing, renting a boat, bicycle. The maritime museum is worth seeing right nearby.

We spent 3 weeks at this property, the house is lovely and quite practical for a family. The beach is less than 5 minutes walking and perfect for all: no waves in the cove behind the house and for the daring, short walk to the waves part of the beach. Plenty of toys in the garage for the little ones and the bigger ones! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all! Practical kitchen for meals. The top deck is just amazing: views, views and perfect place for happy hours! Short walk to coffee shop and restaurants around the harbor, sea lions and beautiful landscape make the walk quite pleasant. We are planning to come back next summer.

Our family really enjoyed our week long stay. The house provides privacy for everyone and has some great outdoor spaces. The rooftop deck provides great views of the ocean and harbor along with excellent sunsets. The house was very clean and well decorated. The house and property were awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and accessible. Love the open feel and the multitude of decks available for outdoor seating. A fold-up sunbrella would help a bit. We did not eat at home - too many nearby restaurants - so, I cannot speak to the kitchen equipment. It is all KitchenAid however - a topnotch brand. Don't forget to call out to Alexa - she got a little stuck (or haunted) on the band Styx one day, but heh, we like Styx. It's not a bad hike to the beach, but the open ocean is a little further - probably worth a drive up the coast a few minutes if you want the waves. This part of the coast has a wave-break for boats entering the channel - not unexpected though, as the photos clearly show the location. Central Oxnard location. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants, and Ventura is only a 15-minute drive for another level of shopping and restaurants. The weekend farmers market is walkable, as well as a few restaurants. If you venture down the coast to Santa Monica, choose your timing wisely. It took us 90 minutes to get there but only 40 to get back, and for what...a crowded walk on the pier! There are plenty of day-beaches along the way - stop short of Malibu! If you want to visit LA, stay in LA. This is Oxnard - a jewel of California. Laid-back, clean, friendly, fun, and entertaining. All in all, a great stay for my family. We would certainly stay here again.

We stayed for a large family gathering and the house was just as listed. Quiet, friendly neighborhood, amazing views of the beach and harbor, and quick walk to the beach. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of bath and beach towels. Check in and check out were easy and communication was great for minor issues and questions that came up during our stay. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay for a large family near the beach!

To celebrate the coming birth of our first child, my wife and two couples decided to rent this beach house for a long weekend. When we came across the listing, we all knew immediately it was the one for us!! I had a few questions prior to booking and got prompt responses through out that process. Upon arrival you will find the location is ideal!! Exactly 1 block from the beach, with an access to the beach right around the corner! The bedrooms are all nicely decorated, furnished and just well appointed. The bathrooms are also quite nice, epically the showers. Two of them are exceptionally nice walk-in showers with a bench. No complaints on the beds from any of us, although that can be personal preference. We spent every evening on the roof top deck talking and watching the sunset; I strongly recommend it, the view is ideal! One person in our party is a certified chef, who handled most of our cooking. The kitchen is well appointed with all the basic pots/pans and other cooking utensils. We did have 2 minor complaints which I did relay to the listing agent. I was also told they would be addressed shortly. The oven vibrated / rattled when cooking and the BBQ grill wouldn't get that hot. Again, i was told both would be addressed. Our trip was a blast! We all had a great time and look forward to being able to get away again for another long weekend. We all agreed we would definitely stay there again.

We were in Oxnard for our daughter's wedding. This property was beautiful and in walking distance of everything we needed to be close to as well as an easy drive to any other amenities we needed. While we were disappointed that we couldn't use the fireplaces, we completely understood the reasoning behind that decision. We could not have asked for a better stay.

We absolutely enjoyed every second staying at this lovely home and are so appreciative to the hosts! It feels like a boutiquey little beach resort with all the comforts and vibes of a home away from home! IF we had little children- they would have loved it too with all the toys and adorable bunks! The beach and harbor are right there with sea lions to greet you a block away- and a long stretch of beach on the other side! We would definitely recommend this sweet little haven. What a great place to stay, This was an amazing experience for the grandkids and us. Close to the beach. The neighborhood was kid friendly. The house was perfect. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had a fabulous time at Playa Paradise. The home has multiple balconies to relax and enjoy the sun. We were walking distance to the beach with a huge expanse of soft sand and 3 different volleyball net heights. We also walked to the harbor where a whole colony of sea lions were singing, flirting, wrestling, and playing. On Sunday we strolled through a nearby farmers market with plenty of fresh produce, kettle corn, and souvenirs. The beds in the house were comfortable and rooms were decorated with tasteful artwork. Our kids loved playing ping pong in the garage. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we had plenty of linens, blankets, and towels for all guests.
