milos

My Greek dream house and the most gracious host
If I could give Villa Frakosykia 10 stars, I absolutely would.
This little stone villa was everything I hoped my stay in Milos would be—and so much more. It is an authentic Cycladic home, beautifully decorated with traditional touches, incredibly spacious, and set in the most peaceful, picturesque location. It truly felt like the Greek dream I had imagined before coming here.
The walk to Pollonia is only about 10–12 minutes and is beautiful in itself. After spending three days here, I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay in Milos. In fact, my only regret is not booking a longer stay.
The house had everything I needed, but the true highlight of my experience was the host, Mr. Adonis.
This wasn’t my first time in Greece, so I’m very familiar with the warmth of Greek hospitality—but Mr. Adonis took it to a completely different level. He is kind, funny, thoughtful, and a true gentleman with a wonderful personality.
After I realized I wouldn’t be able to rent a vehicle because my driver’s license had expired, he went completely out of his way to help me. He kindly drove me into town and to several destinations multiple times, making what could have been a stressful trip incredibly easy and enjoyable. Anyone visiting Milos knows that having some form of transportation makes exploring the island much easier, and without his generosity my experience would have been very different.
His kindness wasn’t something he had to do—it was simply who he is. He made me feel genuinely welcome, cared for, and at home.
I know this won’t be my last visit to Milos, and when I return, I’ll be coming back to Villa Frakosykia. By the end of my stay, it truly felt like home.
I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. The beautiful villa, the authentic atmosphere, the perfect location, and above all, the exceptional hospitality made this one of my favorite stays I’ve ever had. Thank you, Mr. Adonis, for making my time in Milos so unforgettable.
Nothing to complain, everything is perfect and it exceeded my expectation

Gentile host but the property was far below expectations
Nice terrace in front of the gulf, we had nice dinners there
The property was advertised having “two bedrooms”. In reality we had one double bed in the living room and one bed in the kitchen. Definitely far from our expectations
