Everything was excellent, service, communication, breakfast, view, tours. We are in awes!!!! Thank you so much for all you have done for us.

La suite Cocoon dove ho alloggiato è molto carina e dotata di una bella vasca idromassaggio sulla terrazza con vista diretta sulla bellissima Ammoudi Bay (mi sono gustato i bellissimi tramonti in tutta tranquillità direttamente dalla vasca!). Il letto era comodo e il bagno grande. Ci sono anche un lavandino con piatti e stoviglie, un piccolo ma pratico frigorifero e un ferro da stiro. La proprietà è gentile e disponibile, la pulizia della camera giornaliera con cambio asciugamani, la colazione greca inclusa è stata abbondante e di mio gusto!

Dalle foto su Booking la camera da letto sembrava un po’ più grande. Su Ammoudi Bay non è presente alcuna area di sosta, e per risalire in paese ad Oia bisogna percorrere sempre a piedi la famosa scalinata o pagare il transfert con i minibus o taxi. È presente una strada laterale alla baia, ma da qualche anno il transito e la sosta sono stati vietati dalle 5 alle 22 e riservati ai minibus/taxi: sarebbe auspicabile che i proprietari delle strutture presenti potessero, o chiedere al Comune permessi/eccezioni per i loro ospiti, o stipulare qualche convenzione con i servizi di trasporto

Need some maintenance. The place is really nice so up keep is a must. One of our friends got bitten by bugs or spiders, she think it came from the Crack where the bed was against the wall. She got bad reaction and had to go to pharmacy to get meds.

Location. Breakfast ok

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location is fantastic—Ammoudi Bay is peaceful, picturesque, and a great escape from the crowds in Oia. The walk up to Oia isn’t nearly as bad as many people make it out to be, and it’s well worth it for the views. One of the highlights was taking the ferry to Thirasia for just €1 each way, which is an absolute bargain and definitely worth the visit. Breakfast was very good. It was continental, but there was a nice variation each day, which kept it interesting. The only downside was that the delivery time varied, so you needed to be flexible depending on when it arrived. Unfortunately, the accommodation itself could do with some TLC. One of the key features the hot tub wasn’t working, the pillows had mould stains, the décor felt dated and a little odd, and the shower drain was broken. Another inconvenience was the lack of power sockets on either side of the bed, which is something most guests would expect nowadays for charging phones and other devices. The outside areas also look quite shabby and poorly maintained, with broken and worn-out furniture that takes away from the overall experience and doesn’t reflect the photos or expectations. Given that Ammoudi is a fair distance from the centre of Oia, it would also have been helpful if a parking permit had been provided, as parking nearby is limited. A complimentary bottle of water on arrival would have been a thoughtful touch too, especially since there are no shops in Ammoudi. Overall, we had a good stay thanks to the incredible location, peaceful atmosphere, and good breakfast. However, the accommodation itself doesn’t quite match the setting and would benefit from some maintenance, updated facilities, and greater attention to detail to bring it up to the standard that such a beautiful location deserves.
