Des chambres très spacieuses et la petite terrasse
Il manque un petit aménagement de la terrasse et dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de véritablement salon

Very comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms. Good kitchen.
Stiff lock to the veranda and only two seats for 4 people. A broken table. Would have liked to be able to dine on the balcony. Missing something to put the suitcases on. Missing hooks on the walls. Missing drying rack to have on the balcony. Didn’t find any clothes pegs for drying clothes. And a little bit risky to use the washing line outside the bathroom, if it drops from the line to a private garden.

Lovely flat in a very nice area - only 12 mins walk from Santa Lucia train station in one direction and 10 mins walk from Rialto in the other direction. Santa Croce is so nice with a mini-supermarket nearby and lovely bakery, fruit and veg shop, gelato place and nearby restaurants. The accommodation itself was great with all you need for a pleasant stay - including a balcony where you can enjoy dinner or breakfast depending on the time of year.

No Breakfast ( not expected )
The appartment was advertised by Booking.com as CA'PESARO, ROOFTOP FLAT. This implies an apartment, if not on the roof ( quite common in Venetian large buildings ) surely nearby.
This palazzo is on the Gand Canal so views of Venice & canal were therefore expected.
In reality the flat is NOT even very near the palazzo. Tucked away many buildings further in.
The flat was offered as a 2 bedroom. One of the bedrooms was obviously a sitting room originally. Therefore the small hallway was called the sitting room. Not ideal. The 'terrace' was extremely small and uninviting.
However the owner, Barbara, was extremely hospitable and welcoming.

"The flat was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had lots of supplies to do any cooking and it was a great location. Our host was VERY quick to respond to my texts and very helpful with instructions ..."
