VILLA AQUA - Adults Only

Great location, 3 min walk to beach, 15 min to Zlatni Rat beach and 10 min to the centre. Room was lovely and spacious, smart TV which is nice. Pool was big and never busy and the host was welcoming and friendly.

The only thing I could say is the balcony was a bit small and didn’t have a table or chairs on it. Also had a window separating each balcony which was just plain glass, so you could see to the other balcony and even into their dining area. But all good other than that.

Views, location, outdoor space, bed, shower quietness, Netflix, the parking …

The lighting of the room is very direct. A couple of nice small lamps would make the space cosier.

We had an amazing time at Villa Aqua! The place is very new, clean, and comfortable. Both bedrooms were a great size, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the town center and all the beaches. There were plenty of restaurants, stores, and bars nearby, which made everything very convenient. The pool area was lovely. The water was a bit cold, so unfortunately we didn’t get to swim, but it was still a great space to relax. Marko welcomed us warmly and was incredibly kind, allowing us to continue using the amenities and store our luggage until our ferry time. We really appreciated his hospitality! The builing even has an elevator, pretty convenient. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Villa Aqua to anyone visiting Bol.

The AC was making some noise, we didn’t use it much as the weather wasn’t too hot, but it would be great to have it checked so future guests. And it would be great to have some extra pilows as option.

Marko the caretaker was really helpful and service oriented. I got his phonenumber for WhatsApp and was able to contact him day or night, and he was very responsive. Nice quiet location (read below), within walking distance of the village and great beaches. The place is like new, so basically spotless, and it's very clean.

The property advertizes to be adults only, but this is false. The owners who live at the top floor, has some friends or family that has two young children, and when they used the pool they basically take over the whole pool area, with kids screaming, running, jumping in and out of the pool, and basically make the environment very kaotic. We specifically book places that are adult only, because we want a calm environment, where we can relax, and this was not possible at all when they were around. The property also advertizes that the sound proofing is very effective, and that's true for voices/sounds between the units, but it's not effective against the banging on the floors above. We suspect that the same family or friends mentioned above lived right above us, because there was so much banging from above that it must be children jumping and running, no adult people would need to mova around so much and for such a long time. They don't reallty mention anything about cleaning, but no one cleaned anything in our room the 3 nights we were there, so no fresh towels or anything (there were towels at reception though). They say reception is open 24/7 this was not the case, there was no one there most of the time, but I guess it's not prime season yet.
