Very kind and cheerful host - I had no issues with check in and any other requests
Property is in old building - high ceilings, big rooms, nice interesting atmosphere
I liked the bedroom interior, bed and pillows were comfortable
Coffee machine and capsules in the kitchen
Old, not clean and not comfortable small shower
Salty tap water
Property looks less polished and clean in reality then on photos
Location is very central so pretty noisy from tourists, and what's worse - from garbage collecting machines early in the morning
Balconies are more like windows and not practical to spend time on

Lokacija je idealna u samom centru starog grada Ortigie. To je salonski stan sa malim stišnjenim kupatilom, ok je za kraći boravak. U blizini ima dobrih restorana, blizu je gradska plaža.Čuje se buka ljudi sa ulice koja nam nije smetala.
Malo kupatilo, nekomforna tuš kabina, pumpa za vodu koja proizvodi dosta buke pri puštanju vode.
Brava na ulaznim vratim komplikovana za otključavanje.

Big apartment, well equipped and in the heart of old Ortigia with buzzing street-life. Sweet little beach at the end of the road. Good bed and lots of cupboard space and kitchen gear. Bathroom is certainly snug but fine for us. Helpful host and nice ambience.
Despite having 3 balconies (which you can just about sit on) there's not a huge amount of natural light. But that's old buildings for you.

the location
the balconies were the appeal of the booking but you couldn’t sit on them ( very narrow dnd no chairs provided anyway) Unless you stood and lent over, your view from the apartment was just to the walls of the buildings opposite. The bathroom was tiny and you had to duck to get in it , it felt like the sort of thing I’d have as a student and the main bedroom had no privacy unless you shut the blinds as just opened directly into the room of the house opposite. plus ( which I know the owners can’t help) there was lots of building work going on and so loud lorries trundling rubble down the street woke us at 7 every morning!
