St Barth's is a great destination having all the best of the Caribbean with little to none of the usual Caribbean hassles. Clean, efficient, beautiful - beautiful setting and homes - clearly people who live there keep the island in lovely condition. Great bars and restaurants. Intriguing numbers of beaches to explore. Fantastic vistas. The villa we had was spectacular setting and ideal for family or group of friends.

Hi there Michelle - Villa Vagabond..we knew we would love as it feels like a summer New England cottage family retreat. We knew we were in for something special when all of us decided to cut the time out of our busy schedules to be together. Well..so many many things to love about Villa Vagabond. The location high up overlooking the island..the wind at night reminds us of living onboard our yacht in the Caribbean..oh…we must mention that we loved being just minutes away from morning runs downhill for chocolate croissants at the boulangerie! We all loved the relaxed creative beach house feeling tone of the Villa. There was so much room to be away for private times and then come together as a family for meals and back gammon tournaments under the shade of the awning. The stone seating area became Emmy’s theater where we would do one act plays about pirates and wearing travelers! The Villas original Bahamian decor inspired us to string wind chimes out of found shells, coral and sea glass, watercolor, draw, read, and play group games under the evening under the stars. Thank you for working with us with the blizzard weather conditions on our departure. We were happy to extend our stay! We will definitely be returning to St. Barths next year and the year after that !…..The only question will be one week or two..or…….?!!!
