• The owner is very enthusiastic, welcoming, and responds to messages quickly. • It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the beach, and there’s also a 7-Eleven nearby, which is really convenient. • Since our room was good for two people, we had our own private bathroom inside the room. • The room was clean and had complete amenities, so we had everything we needed during our stay. The host was also very considerate. I really liked that you can leave your car parked until 1 PM even after check-out and use the shower for free, which would be especially convenient if you wanted to spend more time at the beach before heading home. It was such a shame that there was a typhoon when we visited, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the beach. We’ll definitely come back again, maybe in the summer, so we can actually enjoy the beach and make the most of our stay! He even gave us free postcards, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Salamat! 🖤

If you’re going by car, just a heads-up that the road going up to the place is quite steep. But the view from up there is definitely worth it!

The pension is close to the beautiful beach (5-ish minutes walk without running) without being in a busy area. At night the hum of the cooling equipment is the only sound, apart from cicadas. It's nice to have the hot baths available after coming home, and to sit the canteen with a view of the valley for breakfast or dinner. The proprietors of the pension are the most friendly people and speak English fluent enough to tell about the area and point at nice places to visit.

Traditional Japanese room experience with exceptional host. Thank you Mr. Yamamoto for taking care of us! Traditional onsen (wellness) included. Traditional kimono, futong, tea set, beach umbrella, washing and drying machine. I recommend this a lot!

Its not the most comfortable room if you are used to a western style rooms. But here you go for experience. Real Japanese style. What you should be prepared for is going uphill and downhill for the beach. And also upstairs and downstairs inside the house.
