A good size, modern and comfortable room in a vibrant part of the city. Surrounded by many many restaurants, and services, there is a shopping mall nearby and the Canton tower is about 15-20mins by Didi. Reception have an awesome electronic translator in many languages and the staff there are very helpful. Breakfast is most suitable for those liking Asian style foods with a few western options - and they cook eggs to order - a good way to start the day.
WIFI: slow and drops out intermittently. (Note for guests: If you want fast WIFI you will need your own mobile data plan and a VPN to circumvent the China internet restrictions.)
Note for guests: My room didn't have a refrigerator but other rooms do. If you need a fridge in your room make sure to check with reception.

the family room concept was nice.
Facility in the reception and breakfast area was good.
Location is good, near to a lot of sightseeing spots, as well a lot of food options around the hotel.
Floor area is old and dirty.
The furniture in the room are very dirty, sticky and old.
Especially the sofa had a large stain.
Room has a strange smell, only after we let the aircon run and open the window it was better.
Picture in the internet of the hotel is not showing the reality.
