Loved the location, about 5 mins drive or 25 mins walk into Bakewell - easily accessible but also felt away from the busy town while still being in a beautiful spot. 2 absolutely amazing pubs with great food and drinks on your doorstep. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve had - so much choice and so fresh, cooked to order. The staff were so friendly. The freshly baked cream puffs in our room on arrival were absolutely delicious and a lovely touch, along with a bottle of still and sparking water which got refreshed every day. Very comfy bed and fairly spacious room with perfect little private patio area out the doors from the room into the garden. Good sized car park with electric car charging spot which was useful.
No fridge in room. Could hear some noise from the room next door. The hotel restaurant isn’t open on Mondays or Tuesdays which were the 2 nights we were staying unfortunately. WiFi not great and the TV worked using internet so hardly anything would load to watch. No hotel staff on the premises after 7pm.
