Superb walk-in shower. Excellent view of the lake. Separate toilet from shower room. Heated towel rail. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent restaurant.
Could do with an extractor fan in the toilet in the room. The lift wasn’t working, unfortunately. My wife being of poor mobility, this was disappointing, but as the room was quite near the stairs, this wasn’t a major problem. No fridge in the room. The blind behind the balcony door was extremely heavy to operate.

The location and setting of the hotel is excellent. The restaurant is also always very good. The cocktail mixer (Leah) was superb.
The rooms are really tired. I was given a 3 bed family room. Firstly the door handle for the fire door on the corridor came off in my hand. The room was old and tired. The WC light was temperamental going on and off all the time. I was ultimately given two double rooms, but whilst they were more modern, the lights turned on by themselves in the night.
