Very quiet

Great kitchen and appliances and 'open' layout of room and very clean and well maintained. Nice exercise room and reasonably comfortable bed.

Terrible scented smell throughout, hotel layout, and entry instructions at the rear rntry door. Very loud heating/cooling unit in the room that had to be shut 'off' and room lighting was at eye level and glaring, plus required all lamps to be 'on' for lighting to be closer to adequate; seems the design focus was for the lighting to be considered 'high end', and not convenient or being satisfactory and simple. The bathroom, however, was very well lit, actually. The entrance to parking areas did not seem to have adequate signage, if there at all; I don't recall seeing one and even left the lot not knowing it was the correct one next to another that was not, and ended up having to go west, back onto Lancaster blvd., away from the hotel quite a ways to be able to make a 'u' turn for another try to find what I finally learned was indeed the correct hotel entry drive, a side street, to get back to the entrance again. The television was apparently not plugged in properly and required long hallway walks back to reception, due to the hotel layout design, and, I suppose the property itself. The receptionist received a phone call to return to the desk since there was no one else there apparently, delaying this. There was no signage for the elevator either, that I saw, and it was located in a norrow and obscure hallway offshoot well within the main long hallway which I wasn't informed of at reception. Finally, the 'regular' Los Angeles television channels were very limited in my opinion and I don't watch cable, net flicks or other channels. Many shortcomings and annoyances that weren't expected by the appearance.
