Jayne met my guys just after 4pm to hand the keys over, the cottage was very clean and comfortable and easy access to to the university where we were working over the last 4 days. If we are in this area again I will be certainly trying to book the Cosy Cottage again.

The property was og great walking distance from the city centre, we were able to catch up with old friends and family in our own space.
I understand that the houses are small terraced buildings and space is utilised as best, but having a bathroom upstairs would have been more comfortable.

Perfect location within easy walking distance of centre and local shops. Some have complained about the walk back up the hill but four us in our mid 60's had no problem! No hassle arrival and exit. Thanks to Daniel for waiting so patiently to let us in when we arrived later than planned.
A lock on the bathroom door would be good for obvious reasons!

Lovely to have the whole house for the weekend. Liked close to centre location but in a quiet residential area. Very good transport links nearby (bus). Hosts very accommodating, would definitely stay again.
Would benefit from some new pillows on the beds.

Location was great. Also like the Living room, kitchen and bedrooms. The internet was not good at all! We had to reconnect every 10 to 15 minutes and the kitchen missed more utensils

After having a shower, the whole bathroom gets wet and messy, due to the vapor condensation in one wall and ended up messing the floor with water. Bathroom floor was always wet and messy and we only had a mop. The stairs to the rooms are very steep so be careful with elders.

Lovely convenient and peaceful location. Comfy beds. Ideal for our trip. Parking just outside.

House smelt of old smoke/ damp. Bathroom old, with disabled shower. Beds uncomfortable. Lack of smaller plates in kitchen. Limited crockery.
Provided with milk & bread - bit odd as needed butter if having bread.

Jayne was super friendly and welcoming. The house was very spacious, great kitchen, very comfortable beds. It was perfect for what I needed. The university and the centre of Lancaster were very close/walking distance.

The property met our needs really well for a weekend stay in Lancaster. Jayne is an excellent host with good communication
Our only small criticism is the bathroom does get wet with the use of the shower, however, this is not a show stopper

I love Lancaster and the street I was in is an old street, the house was lovely, and from the front door looking down the street the view was lovely, The house was perfect, had everything you needed, plus tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a loaf of bread was provided, which was nice. Beds were really comfortable and clean. I would book it again.
The massive hill the street was on. My husbands disabled,and the incline was so bad he caught his legs in the car door as it was trying to close on him. Its the only downside, so not the owners fault.

Good location. Easy roadside parking outside the house.
The property is basic and needs a bit of TLC and tweaks here and there but it didn't spoil our stay.

Staff was very friendly, we were provided with an ample supply of food that was pleasantly unexpected. The beds were very comfortable, WiFi was good, overall atmosphere was very nice.
Kitchen utensils were dirty and required cleaning before use. Central heating system was unintuitive to use and seemed inconsistent in practise.

Warm and cosy. Comfy beds, lots of hot water. Nice big tv. Fully fitted kitchen. Good location, eating places and shops nearby.
Would have liked a kitchen cloth for wiping up.

Recently decorated house that has been kept very clean and tidy. Polite and friendly welcome with a welcome at a time that suited our requirements.

Location was perfect, we arrived late in the day and there was a chippy at the end of the road as well as a local shop! Was perfect for the little things we needed

Clean , comfortable,and warm , good value. Nice helpful owner .Not far from centre of Lancaster,10/15 mins walk.
Better cutlery needed,and a few more things like tin opener ,cork screw ,and bottle opener would be great.
