Loved the cottage and would definitely stay here again. Light and airy with lovely decor. Felt so at home from the start. Lots of room for me and my grown-up sons, and the extra shower room/toilet meant we were not queuing for showers in the morning. The kitchen had everything we needed (except could have done with a bigger cheese grater), and the small garden was perfect for an al fresco meal. Smart TV meant there was always something to watch in the evening when we were tuckered out. When we arrived, after 5pm, there was a loud gurgling noise coming from one of the bedrooms, too loud to allow anyone to sleep there. We reluctantly called the out of hours number, and someone was there to fix the problem before we'd even unpacked. Very impressed with the reaction and speed of service. Best thing about this cottage, though, is the location. Short walk to the beach and Southwold Pier, and the Lighthouse was literally down the road. Absolutely nothing other than maybe an extra door key. Only one meant we all had to stay together, all the time.

Lovely comfortable home, great for the family.

Only small problem was plug in sink got stuck down.

The house was beautiful and clean. Such a great location to the beach and to the high street

Fabulous location within easy reach of the town, even early season there was a buzz with lots going on.

we stayed in Dec. it has no radiators downstairs and as open plan was cold for off season .

The open plan downstairs and patio doors to garden, worked well for 5 adults and dog. Great location, close to both the beach and town.

The living room furniture was OK but not particularly comfortable. The Smart TV had lots of channels but we didn’t realise that you couldn’t watch live itv / C4 on a Smart TV.

Location Garden area Appreciated the staff organising entry at 3pm in the end but feel this should be standard, 5pm is way too late and weighted in favour of the business NOT the customer. Other companies have access at 3pm as standard so will go with them in the future.

The property is in great location but aspects of inside are tired and it was not as clean as I feel it should have been fir the cost (2days nearly £800 )I have photos the show the dust balls had been there awhile. You ask for guests to strip beds which I did but we all wished we hadn't as we then had to see all the stains on the mattresses.

house was in a great location and very clean was well decorated and loved the open plan layout downstairs very spacious and plenty of room for a large family great views of the sea from front bedrooms back bedroom is very large
